Brain Teasers
Daze
My author's uncertain yet my title's the same,
I contain random text yet order's my aim.
Read me one day and see my pages are totally bare.
Try again another day and the words will be there.
I'm not a book of magic although it may sound,
I can predict the future, and inside, your life can be found.
Move my eye, I become involved in lactic extraction.
But that's just a clue, a minor distraction.

Hmm, that was a good one. I thought it was a dictionary at first....but maybe I'm just dumb
Not bad for a beginner...
Thanks Dad
Now get to your room
Great Teaser MrIxolite! Stumped me.
Nice explanation, thanks.
Funny, I find this easier than your other teasers... I guess because it does not involve languages...
yeah, i thought it was going to be a dictionary too :/
Excellent!!
I totally got this one! heehee. Probably because I write in one all the time, lol. Oh well!
yeah
i thought it was dictionary too
shame some of the clues didn't fit tho!

I deduced it to be a DNA!!!
Totally easy. Good explanations.
Well written - so proud of myself when I got the answer after the first line. Of course, it was the wrong answer. Guessed it correctly by the end.
Good riddle teaser. I had several guesses by the time I finished reading it: Bible, newspaper and finally diary at the end. Very cleverly done. Thanks for posting.
Interesting, and creative. I just don't agree with the future telling part, though.
Fun. i agree about the future thing. Didn't know diaries were used as a day planner.
Very nice, very nice!!!
rather funny.. i was staring at my day-planner while reading this riddle and it kinda fell into place !
Easy and fun! Lmao at "Now get to your room"
"move my eye" .... awesome.
Very interesting. For us in the USA, a "diary" is for keeping a journal of things that have happened, and how we felt about them. Since I live by my day planner, to plan for the future, I was way off, and, of course, didn't get the dairy bit at all. Now I understand the complaints of people from other countries who don't "get" our American slang.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Good one: clues and explanations were clear...and fun; thanks.
I have no idea how I got this one, but when I said diary to myself, I then said that I was probably wrong, but it was the only thing that made sense to me. Yaaay me!
I came up with agenda/day planner as to me a "diary" is a journal of sorts usually written in by teen girls regarding all the drama going on in their lives
I got this one too but not until the end.
I got this one rather quickly. I always tried to get my students to keep a journal (the boys didn't like the word diary). As a tutor I worked with 1 kid at a time, and I always stressed how important a journal would become as the years went by.
Fun and entertaining teaser. I got this one after thinking about it for awhile and going with my first instinct.
I got the answer, but I don't like the telling the future part, since just have a date in there is like saying a calendar tells the future. Big stretch.
And "lactic" is not at all the same as "lactose", which you seem to be confusing it with.
