Moody Blues I believe were a music group...

Got the blues first, the moody took me a min. I was thinking blue blues, but I knew that wasn't right. And then it came to me "MOODY BLUES" . Cool, man, cool.
I can see that this would be very easy for a child of the '60s like me and very tough for anyone born a bit later.
I loved it! Very clever - loved your "colorful" description of emotions. Like Auntiesis, I got it because of the blues and the moods. Thanks!
That was a good one, but could someone explain the title to me?
Clever, very clever. I didn't get it, but I like it.
Having never heard of Moody Blues I came up with "Having the blues." I'm glad I got that close!
They were from the 60s? I was into folk music then.

I got it ! nice one ... but i don"t get the title either ,,,,,help?
Loved It...
i loked it. very clever.
Good teaser. As for the teaser title, perhaps the band Moody Blues had a song or album titled by that same name. I'm not sure if I've ever heard any of their music, so I'm just guessing.
good one the blue was easy the moody took me til TUESDAY AFTERNOON
hmm, never heard of them, but i got the blue part
The title is a rebus of a Moody Blues album: "On the Threshold of a Dream"
I got this one easily and I was born in '72 - but I listened to '60s music for a long time :-)
Great teaser.

Great teaser.
I got the Moody Blues on the first one when I looked at the second one I changed my mind. should have stuck with my first answer.
Never heard of the original. I answered "the blues".
boreing could of been more creative
Since I'm in a constant funk, I knew this answer. It was a very good teaser, don't let anyone who says different bother you. Thanks so much for posting.

That is awesome!
I get the title now ... thanks
I was born in the wrong decade, and have listened to the Moody Blues and other sixtys and seventys music since when I got over The Hokey Pokey and the Mickey Mouse March. LOVE the moody blues! Great teaser!
I just thought the answer was "Sad and blue"... thought that was a bit lame!
that was hard+ive never heard of the moody blues
very cute
first I thought 'Dull colors', then I realised they were all blue shades, and were all moody...as with most teasers, easy (if you know the answer), near impossible if you don't...fun either way.
Good one, cnmne I couldn't get it then pounded on my head when I saw the answer. Cute and clever
The title was deceiving, but the teaser was great and I got it pretty easily. Nice job.
One of the better ones ...
Easy but good! Also depressing Hope KiPA has a happy day. Hope S had a great vacation!
AWOR. These old repeats make me very MOODY. Now that W's health is improving, G seems a bit more upbeat. That's great.
I only got as far as 'sad and blue', but didn't try to take it further. And I loved "Nights in White Satin" and "Go Now"!
Still cool, baby, cool. Hi to my buds.
I got moody and blue, but never ever heard of Moody Blues. Not many people have, and so it was not too popular a teaser.
Moody Blues :-) Loved Nights in White Satin :-)
It's cold, rainy and gloomy here today. People all have the moody blues. Clever puzzle. Thanks for posting!
Ah, Moody Blues. Going to fire up the phonograph.
Don't get the folks who don't know them? But I didn't get it either Was close, but not happening....Really good teaser!
I still love this puzzle. Very clever. Thanks for posting!
I have heard of the singing group The Moody Blues but I could not think of it for the answer to this teaser. I got blues but not moody.
Being a child of the 60's, I got this after some thinking about it for awhile. The title totally threw me off as I wasn't familiar with the album it represented. I thought it was a great rebus, guess you can't please everybody!
Fun and entertaining teaser; this time around I got it very quickly.
