The missing number is 6.The number in the middle of each triple is the same as the digits of either end's number when added together. 3+7=10=8+2 and so on.

Great teaser I really gave up too soon. I'd love another 'series' teaser to try again.
Excellent .Finally got it after 5 minutes of driving my brain crazy.Keep up the good work.
Aw, I should have spent more time trying to figure it out. It was a great teaser, though.
Great teaser. Thanks
That's what I'm talkin' about. Great teaser. Let's have more of these please! (9)
This one made me feel smart!
I blew a few brain cells, but no dice!! Good one..
great job!!!... these series teasers always get the brain cells active... took me a few minutes, but it eventually came to me
Excellent! I didn't get it tho.
Maybe next time.
Thanks
Maybe next time.
Thanks
another way to get 6 is if you subtract the middle number from both the first and last numbers you are left with a multiple of 9. So, 37-10=27 27=9x3 & 82-10=72 72=9x8 etc.
Good one, thanks. Aw, I thought there were 4 separate problems ... I never got to the one with the question mark before I gave up. Next time i'll look at the whole problem first.
plrm01 ... so when you get to the multiple of 9, how do you get 6 from that? I'm missing something.

Good one, Fishmed. I didn't get it, but I enjoy this kind of teaser. Thanks
Two words, NI CE!!
I did something similar to plrm01 - multiply the first digit in the first number by nine and then subtract that answer from the number (37 - 3x9=27; 37-27=10. So 42 - 4x9=36; 42-36=6)
Do the same with the 2nd number, only it it on instead of subtracting it!

I also got it via plrm01's method.
A little too easy, but still fun. Thanks for the teaser!
That was really good! Until I saw the answer I had no idea what we were suposed to do. Next time I will
have a better clue. Good one!
have a better clue. Good one!
Got it from the first (1'st) # in each series; didn't see the connection to the last number in each series though.
Got it after a good brain workout.
I got it quickly, but I still found it challenging and really liked it.
