ummm... It was ok
Quoted from:
http://en.wikiquote.org/ wiki/List_of_misquotations
"Why don't you come up and see me sometime?"
Correct quote: "Why don't you come up sometime and see me?" - Mae West (She Done Him Wrong)
This quote is actually correct: Mae West said "Why don't you come up sometime and see me?" in She Done Him Wrong, but she switched the word order in her next film, I'm No Angel, where she actually does say "Come up and see me sometime" (albeit without the "Why don't" part).

Great one, although I only got part of it right... Keep tese coming!
Easy but fun.
"Shot heard round the world" also is commonly used to describe Bobby Thomson's walk-off homer for the New York Giants against Brooklyn Dodgers' pitcher Ralph Branca in the National League Pennant Playoff final game in 1951.

Looks like only those who rely on the hint will "get the bonus point". That doesn't make sense to me. I didn't use the hint.
that was really good, very fun. loved it!
Much too easy.Where is the challenge. This is turning into a childrens page. I realize it is for all ages, but get real.
I didn't need the hint either, but Idid know the correct answers, so no "bonus points" for me either. Oh well, nice teaser anyways, even if it was a bit easy. Thanks for posting.
These are fun - and easy. Thanks.
I remember these from the Mac game, 3 in Three.
Sorry, but I was around in WWII. Mae West was way past her prime then; while she may have entertained at the USO, she was definitely NOT one of the favorite pinups. That honor went to Betty Grable, Rita Hayworth, etc. I believe Mae was born in the late 1800's.

Not too difficult. Enjoyed it, would like to see some more. Thanks
I thought this was really good!
Thank you all for your comments. If you thought this one was easy, or you want to see more, I have 10 others just like it. Just check out my teasers...
I never heard of the Vowel-less Knights but I got them all!
Meh, I thought it was here and there. I didn't see much fun in it.
Fun, creative, hilarious, entertaining, challenging, and - even - a bit naughty.
AND THAT'S JUST THE COMMENTS.
I rated it highly and am sorry the author no longer appears here.
We will continue to talk about why (maybe) that is true.
More to come .....
Stay tooned .....

Meantime ... here's a failed Reboid* for you (we can't call it a r*bus because it hasn't "weathered the storm" yet").
Below ('twixt the bars) is the Reboid as it appeared on another puzzle site. Your job, here, is to ...
First, try to guess what common phrase it stands for and then ....
Next, try to guess why the judges (on that other puzzle site) would not OK it for publication.

What's the Reboid?

You can send me your answer (check "community" above and then send me a PM (private message) ... or you can answer it here.
All will be revealed soon.
Good luck.

OK ... OK .... relax, relax ...
(I got a couple calls on this)
Why the "Reboid" intercept ????
Because I got tired of waiting around for some comments that WERE relevant to the "Vowel-less Knights" entry.
Nothing ... and it's been over twelve hours.
Now ... don't anybody split their knicks trying to tell me it's 'cause "BadBunnee" is kickin' asparagus again.
Won't fly.
More about this on the PRIOR TOTD (eyeseeeexcept; the "real" rebus) - which 'got exactly ...................
ONE HIT (this year) - other than mine.
Soooo ... tell me again?????

I'm very smart, or it was very easy. I think it's the latter of the two.
Having heard the phrases I got it pretty easy, otherwise I'm not sure how easy it would have been.
Fun!! I was able to solve it, but I had to magnify my screen page to see the small print.
pee ess I solved it yesterday but I forgot to click 'Add Comment'

Very, very easy, but fun! I did not need the explanations as they were all in my time so I was aware of where they came from. I appreciated them more than most did, I am sure!! Thanks.
Fun, easy and enjoyable teaser; I got all three of them.
As much as I liked Mae West - she was a hoot! - she definitely wasn't the favorite in WWII. That prize belongs to Betty Grable. Loved this quiz - more, please!
Pretty fun and easy! Good way to start the work week!
Fun, easy and entertaining teaser; I got them all very quickly just the same as I did three years ago.
Not awful, but not great.
