Nice one I managed to get most of them hehe.
Enough already with this simple stuff. I've been checking in daily for over 2 years now. I have remained silent. There have been a few good teasers posted here, but for the most part, I must agree with IMURRAY ( I believe he must look like Squidward on Spongebob Squarepants). These pedestrian 'puzzles' are slightly less challenging than microwave instructions on packaged waffles.
I like to pass on good puzzlers to my workmates, but it's been a long time since I've found one worthy of sharing. I believe the 'Beheading' schmaltz has run its course.

Takes all kinds. I for one enjoy the "beheading" series.
P.S. Don't know what kind of frozen waffles you're using, but mine aren't made to be cooked in the microwave; maybe you ought to read those package directions again with a magnifying glass.
I also like the beheading series ,great job. Missed number six.
I agree with craniac, most frozen waffles are best used with a toaster.
Except for the waffle part, I agree with jimbo.
Maybe because I'm new to Braingle, but I enjoyed this teaser.
Too easy. And I'd never even heard of an "ascot".
Needed the hint for #6 but then got it. Never knew a manger was a trough but got the answer of course from anger and the title. And I sure wouldn't be laughing if I didn't know what an ascot was (unless that poster is pre-teen). I for one don't mind easy-ish; it's just fun, not the GRE's. Actually, I don't enjoy the ones that I'd have to spend the morning on and still not get it!
I really enjoy these teasers. Just because some of you do not like them does not mean you should insinuate that the rest of us are dumb. I have been a teacher for many years and I love words and any kinds of puzzles that deal with words.
Would someone please explain the comments about waffles? Did I miss something?

Disregard my last comment. I just reread the comments and now I understand.
Thank-you all for your comments. I do plan on another round of these, but I will make them harder. The beheaded letter won't be the same for every word, and I'll try to make the clues harder too.
I think these are great teasers! You've done a great job!
I agree with everybody! These are fun teasers, but they get to be too easy when they all start with the same letter. Looking forward to some beheading teasers that are a little more challenging.
They were fun to me, but I didn't know a manger was a food trough. I suppose young people wouldn't know what an ascot is, very old fashioned. All in all quite a lot of fun.
I too am tired of beheading, but I still appreciate people posting . If they did not , we would have nothing to try. I got them all except #5. I never heard a manger called a food trough.
What do you understand a manger to be, then, if not a food trough?
Yes they are easy but that does not take away from them being fun. Try to write a teaser and not only have it approved, but make it the exact right difficulty that no one complains of it being too easy OR too hard. There are thousands of users on here from all over the world. I was watching Different Strokes online last night and to quote the theme "What might be right for you, may not be right for some".
PS to those who do not know what an "ascot" is no it is not an old fashioned anything - it is a type of necktie. I hate to have to resort television to explain something, but anyone who has ever seen "Scooby-Doo" has seen an ascot - Fred wears one.

I like beheading. I enjoy it. So judos to whoever does them.
Sorry Marc, I'm with Jimbo on this one, way 2 ezy even without the hint!
I find that I consistently like MarcM's teasers. This one was no exception.
If you're a microwave waffle type, then perhaps you'd be better off paying for such waffles while the rest of us are grateful for the diversity of toasted waffles that come out way.
Just wondering why offensive irritability is considered socially acceptable? Do such complainers speak ill of their friends in social situations? The criticisms are not constructive, nor pertinent.

Fun and entertaining teaser; I got them all but had to use the hint for three of them.
