Language brain teasers are those that involve the English language. You need to think about and manipulate words and letters.Language
Complete the 3-word queues by finding a word that comes between the two given, in alphabetical order. The missing word has the same number of letters as its neighbours.
No plurals are used, and obscure words will be avoided. Because of that, alternative solutions might be possible.

Good one. Thanks. I had difficulty without the hint for the 4-letter word.
Maybe you could create another one with "E-Queues"?
Glad you enjoyed it, TFF! Yes, I'm thinking of putting a couple more of these together if people enjoy them. It's a bit of a mind-stretch to solve, but some of us seem to thrive on that.
I don't understand this one. Most of these could be anything though (for example first one could be IT as well, 2nd one could be ICE or IRK etc.). Unless there's a pattern I'm not seeing??
twb, the missing word must fall between the two given in alphabetical order. So, it's like finding a word between the two given words in a hard-copy dictionary.
Maybe I should try to make the instructions clearer with the next Queues!
I started on this thinking, blah-easy-boring, but I got put in my place very quickly! I ended up needing the hint for three of them. Terrific teaser!
