Insomnia has her birthday today. She hasn't signed in for about three weeks, so I hope she comes along to see our birthday wishes for her.

There are several, sort of famous, people who share her birthday. They are Jada Pinkett Smith, Robert Blake, Lance Armstrong and Frankie Avalon. Two famous people born on this day who have passed on are Greta Garbo and James Gandolfini. Dr. Ben Carson is turning 64 today and has thrown his hat into the ring with a whole bunch of others, in the run for President.

So Insomnia, here is wishing you a wonderful birthday celebrated with family, friends and other loved ones. May you have many, many more future birthdays. Big Braingle Hugs!!

I am not going to get this wish in on the right date. I honestly had the information for two birthday girls, but I got my own dates mixed up, so sorry a day late, and as they say, a dollar short. Anyhow, 4Wheels from the US and Nytwynd of the Philippines both celebrated their birthdays on 9/20.

http://birthday-graphics.com/wp-content/uploads/bday/2011/02/belated-birthday-11.gif">

So ladies, I hope you both had a wonderful celebration with oodles and oodles of family, friends, and other loved ones, and that you will have many many, more years to enjoy getting older. It really isn't half bad if you just keep your calendar straight.

Or if you are having trouble with the graphics working out - the first one which looked good on my side, but would not show up properly on the Braingle side was pretty cupcakes with "Happy Belated Birthday" on it. Sorry I had to settle for this cake but it is the thought that counts, right?

There is a pharmacist that lives in the U.K. who is celebrating is birthday today, September 22, 2015. He is a dear old friend of mine, one of the first people I met on Braingle all those years ago. His user name is Freddy Pharkas. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, FREDDY!

You share your date of birth with Andrea Bocelli, opera singer who turns 57 today; Scott Baio , 55 , who played Chachi Arcola on the television series, Happy Days; Joan Jett, also 57, lead singer of the Blackhearts who toured with Steven Tyler during Aerosmith's 2007 World Tour;Tom Felton, only 28, actor who won MTV Movie Awards for Best Villain in 2010 and 2011 for his portrayal of Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potter films. See Freddy, you are in with a bunch of well known people.

Sending my love Freddy and hope you are celebrating with family, friends and other loved ones with a gigantic cake and other goodies. Take the day off and relax, and don't stay away from here so much. We miss you.

Ok now Freddy, I told you Happy Birthday! You can take the jinx off the birthday box!

Seriously folks, for some reason I am having real problems putting things together with the wish, the card and the famous people. I had one all done out for Steve1973 on the 25th of September. Just as I hit post, suddenly I was required to log on to my account again and it wiped all of the wish out. So I decided I would wait until the next day and redo it as I wanted to create a wish for Radioguy who has a birthday today. Wouldn't you know, it happened again!!

So I will try one more time, this time without the list of famous people who shared birthdays.

Steve1973 has been around Braingle for some time and you can usually find him expressing his views in the Debate section of the Public Forums. I may not always agree with Steve, but he does bring up some good points to make you think about whatever subject. Thanks Steve and I wish you a Happy Birthday a day late. Everybody "HAPPY BIRTHDAY, STEVE!"

Yeah, it worked, but I had better hurry because midnight also seems to be the bewitching hour when I have to log back in again, too.

Arg, Radioguy! Has your parrot wished you a Happy Birthday yet today, Ye Old Black Pirate? If anyone is wondering, Radioguy used to moderate some of the neatest Pirate Werewolf Games. Am not sure I ever missed one. We have been friends on Braingle for a long time. probably since 2007 when he first joined and started playing games and then modding them. Anyhow, he's a good Cap't!

Am hoping you have had a wonderful birthday with family, friends and other loved ones helping you celebrate.

Birthday wishes go out to another one of my long time friends. Jayo from Dublin will be celebrating his birthday on September 27th and I am hoping he has a really great day. In trying to find out when Jayo joined Braingle, he joined in 1988, I pulled his account up and found out he has played over 100 games in both Who's the Boss and Werewolf. He is a very savvy player.

I usually read people's byline if they have one and Jayo's happens to be one of my personal favorites: "Life is short, enjoy it, the big party doesn't happen until afterwards." But Jayo you have our permission here at Braingle to enjoy your birthday celebration. See you in the games.

PS Folks, take a look at Jayo's wiki. Such a well written story slightly frightening, but very plausible. We need to watch our Ps and Qs folks and just try to love one another.

October 22 was the birthday date for themightym a guy from North Carolina. Unfortunately as soon as I gathered the birthday wishes and said what I wanted to say and I proceeded to transfer everything Braingle told me I had to log on again in order to transfer any info. So I am truly sorry mightym.

I also have a friend who used to be on Braingle and I am sure some of you members who have been around for a while will remember mathmaniac. She was one of the best writers in Fish's Writer's Block. I can tell you she is a busy mommy of handsome little Tommy who she had before leaving Braingle. Then she and her husband had twin daughters, and just recently she had another baby girl, so she has really been keeping busy. She appears to be a great mom and has started her own blog ApostolicMom The 22nd was her birthday also.

I have just discovered something, or so I wrote on the other piece I had written. Themightym and Mathmaniac are both from North Carolina. And I know that her husband's name is Mike and he is highly involved in their church. Themightym has the icon of The Hulk and his user statement says, "Those who do evil will come to know me well." Hmmmm??? Do we have a mystery going on here?

Either way themightm and mathmanic, again I apologize for not getting this loaded in on October 22, but am hoping you both had a splendidly HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

One other Trivia fact Grayma, October 24th is also United Nation Day. In 1948, the United Nations General Assembly declared 24 October, the anniversary of the Charter of the United Nations, as which "shall be devoted to making known to the peoples of the world the aims and achievements of the United Nations and to gaining their support for" its work.

Thank you for the Birthday wishes.

Bluegrass, a person would think I wouldn't miss the declaration of United Nation Day, but I did get the laying of the cornerstone for their building, does that count? LOL Thank you so much for your info on Magellan, and I had always wondered what your avatar was - you know some of these little things are hard for we old folks to see. And I did not know Magellan discovered the Philippines, again I'm not sure I didn't know, or if I have just forgotten.

I enjoy putting together the birthday wishes. I have always been a researcher of some sort, trying to keep the mind busy you know. But again, I want our Braingle members to step in and wish their friends a personal Happy Birthday. Don't back off just because I get so verbose. And I do apologize to our members when I do get ill and am unable to keep this up on a daily basis. Hope you will all bear, or is it bare?? with me. Not it probably isn't bare!!
