Rest in peace anyone who passed away at 9:45PM on Wednesday, July 01, 2009. We totally miss you, even if we don't know your name, or anything about you. Even if you cut us off in traffic, or were an ex-murdered. We still will sorely miss you.

Life is short, Eternity is forever. Where will you spend it? Jesus Christ is the only person who can guarantee your eternity.

Yeah, 97 - so he definitely lived a long, fruitful life. He was an Academy Award winning actor for his role in "A Streetcar Named Desire".

ah, they were my neighbors a few years back... they didn't die, they just moved.... same sweet glorious feeling! he was a train caboose engineer. that's one of those people who sit in the back and do nothing all day, thinking all along they run the whole thing. what a putz! he said no one had an opinion that was equal to his, and meant it. grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

my sympathies to the rest of the neighborhood, as well.

Amelia Earhart, Earnest Hemingway, Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Jimmy Stewart...

A July 2nd death would give you something in common with them... not a bad group to belong to.

vlerma, I'm sorry to hear of your health problems. As a P.A. I have seen enough of diabetic problems of this variety. Life can be so unfair. Makes me want to scream sometimes when I'm at the hospital. Diabetics seem very brave people to me. I find that encouraging....Prayers are with you.

Life is not unfair.
You get what you get in life.
You have to play with the cards you have been dealt. Just get on with it.
Consider yourself lucky for what you have, not unlucky for what you haven't.
Focus on the positive. Keep away from negative.
I have had my share of illness to last me several life times.
Personally, the thing I hate most is pity. Perhaps I should be posting this in "Things which make me frown" area....but as I have also been close to my maker on a few occasions, "People died today" also seems appropriate!

SPLEEN VENTED!

Sorry about the last of my rantings..I had just got off the phone from my mum and she really annoys me with the pity card.
She is the victimless victim...she has NOTHING to complain about...yet...well I wont go on...I did that before...

Yeah RIP random dead people...of July 4th 2009!

On July 4th, 1826 John Adams died.

On July 4th, 1826 Thomas Jefferson died.

On July 4th, 1831 James Monroe died.

Significant figures in the early forming of a nation, and the declaration of independence
Each was a President of the United States.

Sorry, no funeral tickets for these three gents.. RIP

Very ironic that all three died on the day celebrating American independence.

On 4th of July, 2003 - Barry White died.

And although I like Jefferson, I wouldn't want to attend his funeral. I don't know why anyone would like funerals or mourning over graveyards. I always prefer memories to headstones. It tells you a lot more about the person.

And if I could attend his funeral, can you imagine what bad luck I would have? "Hello, I've come all the way from the future just to meet Mr. Jef - what? I'm too late?!"

Now, let's not exaggerate too much. Today, about 150,000 people are going to die world-wide, but about 8.2 trillion flies are going to die today, world-wide. People are continuing to drop like people, but they certainly aren't dropping like flies! Heck, we don't even have the population world-wide to even account for the number of fly deaths across the world today!

Let's try not to stretch the facts too much, why don't we?
