Riddle
Riddles are little poems or phrases that pose a question that needs answering. Riddles frequently rhyme, but this is not a requirement.Riddle
I go out on a limb to fix a member inside
With iron I describe something for cooking that's fried
When I'm put together with stars
I help to make something viewable from cars
When with a ballot a right is exercised
I might be away if one's ship has capsized
What am I?

Answer
castLines 1-2: A cast goes "out on a limb" (an arm or a leg) in order to heal ("fix") "a member inside" (a bone). "Cast" "with iron" makes "cast iron" which describes a frying pan with which one cooks fried food.
Lines 3-4: If the word "cast" is "put together with stars" it means to cast movie stars for a film which is "viewable from cars" in a drive-in movie theater.
Lines 5-6: When one casts one's ballot, one is exercising one's right to vote. "If one's ship has capsized", one might be a castaway (cast+away).
