Brain Teasers
Congrats !!!
The rebus, please:
------------IIIII
I,II,III,IIII,-^-,IIIIII
------------IIIII
I,II,III,IIII,-^-,IIIIII
Hint
How many are at each location (after, before, or between the commas) and what is different about the unique set?Title is also a hint.
Answer
High five. The set of five (in the rebus) is "high" (as in above) and the other four sets are "low" as in "not planar-equivalent" to or beneath.
*High five* is a colloquial/idiomatic expression in common-usage that means "congratulations", "you've done well", "go, (somebody)", or (sometimes) used simply as a greeting of some sort. The routine is normally executed by one person raising their hand, palm-out, with fingers up and closed. The "five" now represents the five fingers and the "high" is the raised hand. The respondent (unless it's done self-congratulatory afront a mirror) usually, then, reflects the same mannerism and the two persons then slap palms and do (and frequently say) more silly things.

Is there really anybody who does not know what 'high five' means?

Hey, annie ... and THANKS tehI ...
for your visit and support.
Annie: I believe the last time this was known to have happened (somebody NOT knowing what "high five" meant) was on a recent excursion by the UN "Save The Natives" Committee to the Island of Boring-Boring in the S. Pacific.
The Committee approached one of the tribal villages, all gave the High Five ... and the natives all thought they were voting on who needed to go to the bathroom.

Congrats to a good teaser. Just what I needed first thing in a.m. Keep them coming.....enjoyed it! "Hi 5" back at ya....
I liked it. I looked at the hint and got it right away.
Wow i cant believe i couldn't figure that out. Clever rhebus.
that was quite confusing
BOO! me no understand.
i really don't get it....
Sometimes the simple one's are the best.
I liked it, and the explanation was REAL amusing!
I didn't quite get it at first, oh now I get it!
I guessed correctly, but expected to be wrong, because I thought I was missing some other hidden meaning with the I's. I guess I would've used roman numerals, rather than just I's. Then again, maybe that would've been too obvious.
Hiya, Reb ...
I thought about that (using Roman nums) but decided to use IIII's instead. I guess I was thinking the Roman nums "look-alikes" would throw folks off the scent.
Or ... somethin' like that.
Anyway ... thanks for the visit, the comment, and the vote (if you did so)

This rebus is inccorrect, the symbol for five is not IIIII it is V

perhaps i still wouldnt have gotten it.
over my head
hahahaha -very cute
It's not incorrect, Trot. The answer calls it a group of five, not the number five. I guessed first "Jump Five", which is a music group. I suppose that's because I'd just done another rebus whose solution was a music group. Nice job.
