i had no idea what a lamina is, but i got animal right
That was great; I loved the kingdom part! Keep up the good work!
That was fun & informative. My new word for the day is lamina. Very cool.
YAY!!! I finally got one!!! (only the first word though... - does that count?)
Really cool teaser!! I liked it! Got it right too!!
i ENJOYED THIS ONE, AT FIRST HARD, THEN BECAME EASY.
ONLY BECAUSE I SNEEKED A PEAK, TEE HEE.
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK.
Fun, but harder than I thought it would be!
never heard of thin plate .
Very nice work! Fun and informative, and I wasn't able to get it even with my thesaurus!!
And, a YAY for everyone *not* posting any negatives!!
(IMO, this one certainly doesn't deserve any!!)

I can't believe I didn't get this - after I saw the answer, it seemed so simple! Oh well. Thanks and keep them coming.
That was REALLY tough!
This was a really good one.
This was a really good teaser.I enjoyed it
I got the first two. I thought it was good. Nice job!
I really enjoyed this one. Took me a while to come up with the first answer but after I did the rest fell in very earsily. Lamina is a form of laminate, you know, like putting a plastic covering on things like your driver's liscense or ss no. Anyhow, great job, cnmne. Keep them coming.
Tough one. Never would guess lamina and manila. Good work.
When I realized I was supposed to switch consonants for "lamina" rather than "animal" it got a whole lot easier ... Good fun!
Yeah, good one! I, too, got the first two words, but I couldn't get to "manila" ... I didn't think to put a consonant IN FRONT OF the first "a".
Very cool. I only managed to get this because I'm a Survivor fan.
Great Riddle!!! The thin plate got me Keep challenging us!!
as many i have never heard of lamina. i thought it was pretty hard but i didnt have my thinking cap all of the way on It was interesting and i'd like to see more of its kind
Highlama, the vowels for both "manila" and "animal" are in the same order so why would it matter which word you "started" with before moving the consonants around? You got it in the end, though, so good job!
omg!! i luved that 1!! it was the best i've seen in a WHILE!! gr8 job, whatsyourname!! lol. i'm so proud that someone actually submitted 1 that was worth reading and figuring out!
la la la la la la la la la la. as u can probably see, i'm REALLY bored
Nice one, and i got animal and manilla, but it's spelled with 2 L's, you know.
very very very cute. and maniLLa is spelled with two Ls.... just incase you were wondering...
its ok though.... still cute
its ok though.... still cute
manila or manilla? One of those words that can be spelled either way.
NICE JOB
that was hard! But at least I learned something...
I didn't get it but i didn't know there was a name for a thin plate o well good jod
I got it!!!!! But, the way you clued it, after getting the first word the rest fell into place, even though I've never heard of lamina; but I've heard laminate so that made sense and then manila wasn't hard. But that was a tricky one! Thanks!
An easy but a little tricky one. Not a thinking one.
Nice teaser. Enjoyed solving it.
Finally one I could figure out. Thanks for making my day!
HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA Cool I got the paper one and animal one I have never heard of the plate one tho keep going i love them
Some of us had to think to solve this one. Very nice, as usual.
lol the answers just came when i read the puzzle ! i am soo excited.. usually suck @ anagrams
In reference to the previous comments about spelling, Manila has only one 'l' in common english usage. It is named after the city in the Phillipines. While it may be able to be spelled with two l's, (I cannot find anything that specifies it is incorrect) it is less common and I can find very few official references to this spelling.
It was a good teaser; if only I could have come up with 'animal', the rest would have fallen into place.
Question: How does reporting something I find offensive work? I clicked on 'this is offensive'; THAT disappeared, but the posting is still there!! Can someone explain, please?

Yes, wordmamma, I agree. I have done the same thing. Also just did it on one of these (probably the same one you did). As previous times, nothing changed. Does it have to have a certain number of reports, maybe?I'd like to know.
I couldn't get this one. Just not my cup of tea.
Nice one. I got animal and that led me to manila but had to look up lamina.
I learned something new today.

My dog is madd!!!
A little obvious, though I had to assume lamina was a word (same vein as laminate). And I think Manila is far more comonly known as the plant/city/folder material, and not really thought of as a "paper type".
I never thought of manila as a type of paper either, but rather a type of folder. Learn something new every day
Well, I didn't get it, but I liked it!
Thanks for posting.
Thanks for posting.
I can't believe that so many people didn't get this one, oop's I was one of them.
I too had to assume lamina was a word (though I've not heard it before) since the other two clues fit so well. Manila I have usually heard of in reference to an envelope, but knew it as a paper as well. Though fairly easy thanks to the Kingdom clue, I enjoyed this one.
not a 2.79 difff, was done 30 sec. just get 1st work. _______ kingdom 6 letters- not hard. BUt was clever
Again did not know I had worked it before and went through it in about three minutes. Very easy. Fun though!
I came up with the answer, but it took some deep thought!! Great teaser - really enjoyed it!
I'd never heard "lamina" before. If I had, I might have gotten this.
I didn't get this one. I guess I should have waited until I had coffee! Seemed so easy after I read the answer!
What a terrific teaser! I almost gave up, but then managed to guess the right Kingdom. I'm really glad I stuck with it.
Know what? This is so good it's going in my favorites.
