I was talking with my old friend Tim the other day. We grew up in Los Angeles and were big Ram fans. He said it was too bad that the Rams had to move to St. Louis before they could win a championship.
I told him "They aren't the only team that has done that. In fact, I can think of two teams, from two different cities, but with the same team name, who both moved to the same city and then were able to win a championship."
Tim thought for a minute, then said "I got it!"
Can you?

Fun teaser. I didn't get it, but thank you for providing a hint that was actually a hint. It would have been helpful if I'd been more knowledgable.
I'm glad you enjoyed the teaser Karen.
The Cleveland Browns actually did win several championships prior to the Super Bowl. The Browns were originally part of the All America Football Conference, where they won all four AAFC championships (1946 through 1949). The Browns then joined the NFL in 1950. They won the NFL championship four times: 1950, 1954, 1955, and 1964.
The Rams originated in Cleveland in 1936, where they won the NFL championship in 1945. After moving to Los Angeles, the Rams won the NFL championship in 1951.
Althought those franchises did not win a Super Bowl before moving, they still won NFL championships prior to the Super Bowl coming into existence.

Thanks for the additional info Cnmne.
The Baltimore Ravens were not a continuation of the Cleveland Browns but a new team. None of the records or history of the old Browns is part of Ravens history. The new Browns are the continuation of the old Browns.
Thanks for the comment, you are correct that the Ravens are not technically the same team as the old Browns. But then that means the Browns still haven't ever been to the Super Bowl.
