Brain Teasers
The Notes
Detective Brown reviewed the information they had on the case so far. A lady was found shot and they already had a list of suspects - John, Mark, Sarah, Henry, and Carol. Plus, there were five notes that were found that were from the killer. The first was found in a supply room. The second was found in an art studio. The third was in a restroom, the fourth in an animal shelter, and the fifth at the harbor. All of the notes read the same thing, "The clues are where you find the notes." Yet, nothing was found at anyplace the notes were.
Taking one more look at all the clues, Detective Brown immediately solved the case.
Who did it?

Who did it?
Hint
Take one more look at what the notes said.Answer
Sarah. The notes said that the clues were where you found them. From this, you could put the places where you found the notes in order, like this:
Supply Room
Art Studio
Restroom
Animal Shelter
Harbor
Then, if you read the first letter in each of the locations, you get SARAH.

I easily found it out, but it was really good! KUTGW
im stupid xD nice 1 though
At first I thought that it wasn't John because a note was found in the restroom and it wasnt mark because of the art studio but I couldn't fit the other 3.. So stupid of me!
Easy but good
Very easy but I still liked it!
This is such a common scenario in brain teasers, but I just HAVE to wonder: What kind of killer leaves clues that reveal their identity??
Calling cards perhaps, but actual clues? That just seems silly.

Thank you so much for the great comments! I'm working on more brain teasers!
It was easy, but fun. I liked how you had five suspects. Someone who has no idea about the acronym could spend ages trying to figure out who did it, only to find that the answer is in the question.
that was a fun riddle
I got it, bu nice puzzle though
EASY!! Haha. But still so much fun. Just thinkin, how cool would it be if killers did that in real life?
Hmmm, this puzzle is easy but I can't solve it
PS I'm stupid!

WHY THE HECK WOULD SHE WANNA GET FOUIND OUT?
If only the killers would be idiotic enough to that in real life, then life would be a lot happier. Nice riddle! Easy but aren't the ones you can figure out the answer to the fun ones??
why on earth would she write notes saying who she was? i have no clue why any killer would leave evidence plainly stating who they were... ON PURPOSE!
That's assuming she wants to get away with it. Sarah could have a death wish, want the fame that comes by being an accused murderess, be insane... she might ven have a foolproof alibi so that she can take advantage of double jeopardy. Leaving the notes looks stupid but it could be really smart.
This is my favorite teaser of ALL TIME!!! It was kinda hard, but just hard enough so I got it after thinking a bit. It was great!
I thought it was Carol, because you find musical notes in a carol.
Too easy.
EASY PEASY LEMON SQUEZZY!!!
Got it! First try!🌈🌈
You should put more stuff in. Since only the names (not the professions, homes, etc.) of the criminals were given, I knew it had to be one of those.
Just saying!
Good teaser tho.

Why would she want to leave clues that give away her identity?
Cool teaser!
Easy, but makes no sense. Who left the notes there? If they knew who the killer was, why didn't they just go to the police? And the police can't convict someone based on that kind of evidence — it probably wouldn't even be admissible in court, at least not without bringing the person who left the notes as a witness. So this wouldn't even help them.
