Nice.
true so true
Good basic observation. This has made me think that the art of cooking is about using heat to turn liquid items into solids. Besides eggs, there's blood, pancake batter, pudding, milk after yogurt culture has been added...
I agree with the riddler

Nice attempt but as Riddler pointed out, thee are a lot of things that solidify when heated.
Yes, many things do change from a liquid to a solid when heated sufficiently... And also, it brings up the question: is an egg "changing" from a liquid to a solid, or is it already a solid suspended in a liquid, and the moisture is evaporating -- like boiling Coke? I'm no chemist, so I'm not sure.
Excellent! Really got me there!
It was the first thing that came to mind after pondering a bit. I think it's also the most straightforward, imo. I am eating vegan right now, and adding thickener (like tapioca) alters liquid when heated. I'm pretty sure these teasers can usually be stretched, but the simplest felt right to me.
that was a great teaser.
Great one! I didn't think long before looking at the answer, but it stumped me, nonetheless. I think egg is a great answer, despite some of the others presented. I don't agree with "blood", since that's really just the liquid part evaporating. Heating the egg actually changes the structure of the bonds. So others that meet that requirement, yes, but liquids that just boil away, no.
