Brain Teasers
The Test 2
John and his best friend Henry were going to take a test. On the night before the test, John studied all night, while Henry, on the other hand, didn't. Henry decided to just copy off of John's test. The next day, the teacher handed out the tests, and John immediately started to work. Henry carefully wrote down the same answers as John. Luckily for him, the teacher never noticed. A week later, the teacher handed the tests back to the class. John got every question right, and received an A. Henry got an F. If Henry correctly copied John's answers, and the teacher never noticed, why did he fail?
Answer
Because they got different tests! The teacher eventually noticed Henry was copying when he graded them.Hide Answer Show Answer

Because Henry didn't turn one in and John turned in 2
Reminds me of this one:
The teacher gave Ben and Jerry a written test. Ben read the test, then folded his arms and answered none of the questions. Jerry carefully wrote out good answers to the questions. When the time was up, Ben handed in a blank sheet of paper while Jerry handed in his work. The teacher gave Ben an A and Jerry an F. Why?

I like it, but I would POSSIBLY question the fairness of this teaser. The only problem is in the first line: they were going to take "a test." Grammatically, that means that they are going to take the same test. If I said "John and Henry were going to wear this hat to school," it would mean that they are both somehow going to wear that single hat simultaneously; or more likely, that they are each going to wear a copy of that exact hat; but not that they are going to wear two entirely different hats.
This could have been a lot better, I'm not sure how exactly, but it really could have been improved. It's a noble idea though.

This one is very unfair. The answer directly contradicts the riddle. The riddle emphasizes that the teacher NEVER noticed. You can't then have the answer be that he "eventually noticed while he was grading".
^UUUMMMM that's rude.
^^and by the way, what we meant by "the teacher NEVER noticed was he didn't catch Henry looking off John's paper. this was posted for fun, not for negative comments.
SavannahJ is RIGHT!!! If you say the teacher 👨â€ðŸ«did not notice, HE DID NOT NOTICE!!!!! The n I dunno 🤷â€â™€ï¸ why he "EVENTUALLY" 🤔☹ï¸ðŸ˜©saw it.
^ we meant the teacher didn't notice Henry looking off John's paper!!! GEEZ!!! 🙄😂👋ðŸ»
^^ AND, Savanna J is WRONG!!
I thought is was like a test about yourself or something like dat.
One thing I think needs improving, is the word choice. In the teaser, it said: "and the teacher never noticed." But at the answer, it said "eventually, the teacher noticed." but it said that the teacher NEVER noticed, so that can't be possible. Just sayin
^yeaah agree on that. sorry
