I leave the first post open for the mod if she wants to say something.
Anyway, in the series this game was based upon, wasn't there one of the considered Careers that only went along with the others so as to not rock the boat, but actually favored the non-Careers, sort of? Well, consider that one to be me. But as long as the other Careers were involved, I had to try to play a straight game. Now that the last one is gone, it doesn't matter anymore. Anyway, I never like being a wolf because I always want the humans to win to even the statistics for this game. Once this round is over with, I suspect everyone will come back for one last congratulatory post and never come here again. So I was hoping before we shut down this game, we could talk of strategies, why some failed and others effective. In this case, I believe the mod made all the difference. But, sid, all the reasons I mentioned for suspecting you are the very reasons I would have suspected you had I been human. I still couldn't find that reference that hermy made, so it still looks like you were trying to mislead with false info. And reason 3 about my experience with WWG and active wolves is usually true. Usually because of the wolves randomly selected at least one of them is ready to play the game and is very active in posting. This game was an exception.
Also, sid, (and I hope this isn't the insult it can certainly be taken for) the fact that you cannot perceive someone disappearing from here for four days because of real life situations leads me to think you are a high schooler and/or still live at home. I do love this game but sometimes outside distractions make me forget that I am still in a live game. In a similar note, everybody congratulate me, because after having to move my mobile home to another spot about six weeks ago, I have been a victim of the red tape of the county I live in where they will not allow the power company to connect to your residence until everything else is installed and inspected, something easy to say on paper but massively hard to get done in actuality. Anyway, after five weeks of basicly camping out in my mobile home three weeks without water, six weeks without electricity (except what I could borrow from the neighbor next door) I was finally able to get power today. I can start to live a semblance of a normal life again. Back to the game now.
My big question: except for the poor timing of my comeback, what else was there that made y'all think I was a wolf. My approach was to try to think like a human (which I have a lot of experience with) and post accordingly. In many other games, many assume I am a wolf even when I am human. So what about my strategy gives me away, even if it really doesn't? I hope you answer before ending this round.
My apologies to Trinity. I had to get rid of somebody to get the Night over with quickly.

Hehe I don't mind talking this round out just for fun ^^ I'll explain some things I guess, if it's worth the effort...
I agree that the mod gave clues that were far too easy to be fair to the game she literally told me "the Jerusalem post" cx BUT that's exactly why I purposely never mentioned the contents of my clue, to give you a chance to accuse me of making something up in order to get you shot as a human thus ending the game in wolf victory... However I also felt it was unfair especially for Max and Emma to be able to get away with literally not being here... Your effort was much better and I appreciated that c:
Can you really not find the post? it's Hermy's fifth one in round 5... I think only to you I was giving false info I'm pretty sure the others would have seen it
And yes, the wolves are selected randomly, but I hardly think you can count on the set of wolves selected to always include one very active player... And for that to have had anything to do with the consistency of my own personal behavior... If that were so why would I bother eating every other active player? Anyway I might not have as much experience but I try not to let patterns of wolves chosen, i.e. one active two inactive, influence my current game
I'm not going to confirm or deny what you perceive to be my age c: it's not that I can't imagine someone being gone... I mean it happens all the time here, even for me what I can't imagine is how you can be gone and then come back and CARE so much I guess it's just me but if I was inactive and came back to me being possibly shot I would just let it happen, I deserve it for not contributing to the game and might as well let it end... But I don't know how you play never having played with you before (I don't think) so I guess you can be different. Anyways congratulations! ^^
If I hadn't gotten the clue that pointed to you... I believe the biggest indicator was your insistence on waiting for Emma to defend herself, given that she never showed up in the game before so why would you count on her to show up then? I mean I guess she did show up, mumbled some nonsense, and didn't even vote to help herself...meaning she probably knew you were wolf too otherwise you worded some things really cleverly, like pretending to give me credit for fooling the others keke
There really is no consistent strategy for a good player, each game is different and aside from a very general consistent behavior the specifics of what you say or how you vote depend on how the game goes... I haven't been a wolf since this account so I don't remember what it was like cx

Ok, why are we dragging this out. I'm voting jpost.
And jpost, you really had me fooled there!
fear my cuteness.

The reason why I care so much is because I hate not fulfilling obligations. That's why I felt really bad about forgetting this game for two rounds and was determined to be involved for the rest to make up for my inactivity. As I said earlier, according to my type of strategy, I should have been voted out during that period. However, as a wolf, we like inactives because they mess up the humans' strategy. So if everybody is active, the game is probably in optimum mode for fairness to the wolves and the humans. Even as a wolf, I want the humans to win. But for the sake of the other wolves who really want to play the game, I have to act in earnest as a wolf. And even if one of them is inactive, I try to give them every opportunity to play the game. It seems to be the honorable thing to do, in my opinion. So I wanted to wait for Emma. I would have done the same thing if I were human and not sure about Emma, which since I didn't have clues I wasn't. I figured her one chance to effect a victory for herself was to vote for sid and later I would change the vote to sid, so there would be a tie. Then it would be a fifty-fifty game as to who would win. But she did not vote in time, she was shot , and that was that. Edit:According to what MDC said in the above post, I might have been able to pull off a bluff in the final round and make the wolves win. But then again, sid could have just presented the clues she was given and negate my arguments easily. But still thank you for that, MDC.
MDC is ready for this to be over with, and I could go ahead and vote for myself. But I think it is poetic justice for sid to put the final nail in the coffin, so to speak.

Since I didn't know your playing style I don't know if I would have assumed you would normally do any of that hehe... All in all it wasn't a fair game either way with how easy the clues were and the inactivity, but the last two rounds were interesting
I'll end the game now
