Night totally timed out. Again.
Did we hit fur?
Edit: Putter was eaten. That might bode well for changster being evil this game. Or they might have just wanted to hit a known clue solver. Anyhow, just waiting for Lawlor to report Chang's ID.

No ideas yet about who is most likely a wolf. Night timing out is rather annoying! Wolves get it together! There is no need for the long nights.
Maybe the dog only brings the ball back because he thinks you like throwing it.

Looked over the past rounds, but can't come to a hunch over who could be wolf. Voting soft for now. I should be back a couple of hours before the round ends.

Wahooey! 1 down...
Edit: Changhill voted for himself each round that he voted. So nothing can be deduced based upon his voting pattern.
HP brought down a wolf and that's why they ate him. No info there either.
Voting List from last round:
Wolves would have known right away that HP was right in his clue solve. So would wolves vote right away to 'clear' themselves? Or hold off on voting, somehow hoping for the best?
I was curious as to whether another majority would start, in case it was the wolves trying to save themselves. But none appeared. Only 6 players voted, yet others were probably online at the time. Would not voting be more suspicious than voting? Ugh. Time to raid the fridge for dinner. I leave this to you all...
Re-Edit: Jayo posted last with the stated intention of voting, yet he didn't vote. Tho someone else may well have placed the last vote thereby ending the round.
And to those that were dissecting my mention of a Spider connection to the clue - I knew he was already gone. That's why I didn't bother to post anything about him.
Ok, now I'm really going to go eat.

I found one thing that may stand out, although it is not much. Catmandon voted for softball when he was eaten.
Given nothing else much to go on except Cabaret on a hunch, I could easily vote softball. But then I could also vote Cab again.
One weird thing was the rush to get the votes in last round. I would have loved to hear how Changhill might have played it.

Is the sole reason for your suspicion of me due to catmandon voting me the round before he was eaten? If not, please explain. Otherwise, in my opinion, that is not enough to base a vote off of.
For the time being, I will not place a vote. I have re-read the first rounds and did not find anything in particular that screamed wolf.
I would also like to hear why Bruvvy (I am really glad you have returned) voted me, as they did not state a reason...

Honestly, I have no idea. I'm thinking the wolves are doing this deliberately, one voting the target and the other abstaining so nothing can be linked to login times, which means a long timer with this thing. However, I think that's all we've got here, long timers...
Lawlor, can we ask if the wolves have a TB? I'm assuming yes, but if they don't, then the timing thing doesn't make sense at all.
And scrub's suggestion is...questionable. Wondering if that is a furry diversion tactic. That round, I think everyone was casting random votes before people starting settling on Ozzy. I don't understand the logic in his post.

Oh, and abstaining from voting for now, because we've still got two wolves and can't afford to lose another human. I'm hoping someone comes back with better logic. I'll try re-reading the rounds before I go to bed.

A little wolf-hunting - Also known as a sorry attempt to figure out what to do next...
Scrub has seemed a bit wolfish to me. But I also buy into his/her reasoning re. his vote for softy. I'm not saying it's right, just that the reasoning seems human sounding. It's probably his previous votes for me that makes me think he/she's bad? Or he really is a baddie and wants to get a human shot?

Actually it's a reason. Not a strong reason, but what do we have to go on at this point? Yes, you may be human, but how can another human know that? Unless you're saying that scrub is a wolf? I also don't like that softy wouldn't vote. Humans want to lead the voting, not let things get swayed by the wolves. On the other hand, a good tactic is to sit back and watch the activity, then vote.cccgirl wrote:

This is a nice, safe comment. If said from a wolf's point of view. As for us lil old blind humans, we can't be sure who we're voting for. What I'm getting at is that if cccgirl is a wolf, then both Jayo and softy are probably human.Deb feels human to me. Tho she always does. Wolves do not solve clues. But wolves do like to point fingers to active players.
Edit: Switched vote to scrub who is voting for a clue solver. (Not a very good one as it turns out, but I was trying!)

Clue 2 points to A,D, and E
Clue 3 ponts to A, F, and G.
WHAT?!? I've seen wolves work on and solve clues plenty of times to remove suspicion.. IF they solve it and know who it is pointing to, they can try to slove it in an alternate manner to point to someone else.
Sort of like you were doing with poining out (after the solve) that you found a link in the clue to me? Like you were trying to say "yeah it looks like it point to Chang, BUT ......"
And it is just a coincidence that you are voing for the same person who voted for you? If as you say you are "not a very good one" - then the wolves would have no reason to fear you and get you shot based on "trying" to solve clues.
And NO I am not a wolf 'yelling at my partner' to hurry up, that would serve no purpose, I have been very vocal about my disdain for long pointless drawn out nights. Since most mods don't allow use of log-in times there is no point in it. And the "online now" banner is as much as useless as many people may appear to be online when they are not. My computer i on all the time, I rarely log out of sites I am on frequently. At any time anyone who comes into my pac cold access my FB and Hotmail accounts as they are always open, as is Braingle.
To me, there is never an excuse to let the night time out - and I have as a wolf sold an inactive partner up the river. I have no problem doing it. It interferes with the flow and enjoyment of the game (as far as I am concerned anyway).
I am still thinking about where to place my vote, but with 12 hrs left there is lots of time to decide.

Night time outs have long been a sore point with me and whenever I am a wolf, I make a point of it to vote at a reasonable time
I also have long hated the use of log in times so I personally see no point at all in time outs, especially among this group!
I haven't been super active, but that's down to a combo of travel and looong hours at work, I think I mentioned in the WTB game that I'm buried
Back to the game, the Seer's elimination can be a catalyst for wolf bussing, I fully expect the 2 remaining wolves to have already started to point a finger at each other to help remove suspicion if one of them happens to get clipped.
Whenever we do manage to get one, their suspects may turn out to contain the wolf, seen this before
I'll put a changeable vote down for now.

I will stay with my vote on Cab, but yes I could be wrong. She is a good wolf so I don't always see her human side.
A couple of things from earlier in the game not necessarily relevant to being wolves at all. 1) For some reason I always thought softball was from the upper northwest. I was quite surprised to hear she is in school near/around NYC. 2) I do remember playing with CCCgirl. I can't believe it has been two years, but then I usually take the fall and spring off. You were a formidible wolf - what have you been up to? Out of HS yet?
I probably won't make it back on today. Work is very busy.

Some people assume I am from the West/South simply because I am a Dallas Cowboys fan, which probably had nothing to do with your assumption, but I reside in Pennsylvania. Hopefully not for long, though. I intend to go to college somewhere in Bosto, or Minnesota if my parents let me.

In the beginning of round two, scrub changed his vote to chang, simply because Spider was eaten (I took it as a joke). Most wolves would not vote for their counterpart after the seer has been killed just simply for the sake of voting, though I could be wrong. Even though I see cab's point, I do not think they warrant my vote in this round, anyways. They are voting for someone who actively tries and solves clues, but there is also basis around their vote because of the hesitation to blindly vote chang on cab's part.
I know it may sound stupid, especially to cab, but the hesitation to vote chang is kind of suspicious, considering he was a wolf and Harry's solution was the most solid.
Jayo also ended the round prematurely, with a vote on a wolf. They didn't give chang time defend himself or anything, which would be suspicious if he was human, but is coming off as suspicious even though chang was a wolf.
Those are really the only two players who stand out as wolfish to me, though I'm not overly suspicious of either of them.
For some reason my gut is saying Jayo, so that is where my vote will stand for now.

How early did the round end? Really if it was only an our or so, there was no reason not to end it as there was already an almost insurmountable number of votes against Chang who would be unlikely able to refute the clue that seemed to obviously point to him.
Softy did not vote at all, perhaps she did not have a chance to as the round ended early, but the first post mentioning Chang as the likely solution to the clue was at 1624 on Nov 11. Deb and Jayo both posted at 1828. So it is hard to say who put the final nail in the Chang coffin.
In any event I don't think it was suspicious at all.
EDIT: Just cheeked and I actually made the first post of the round at 0554 which means the round only lasted just over 12 hours. But still doesn't make ending the round prematurely mean anything.

Maybe the dog only brings the ball back because he thinks you like throwing it.

Just realised I have not voted yet. Think I will vote Cab based on a feeling.
