The law was coming. That much was certain, and this wasn't some kind of Smokey and the Bandit type law where the hijinx would be many and the malice few. These were New Mexico Rangers full of righteous indignation and armed like a Chicago neighborhood. The bikers hauled it as fast as they could toward the state line as the sirens were getting ever closer. Just ahead was the Arizona border, but hopes for respite were dashed when they saw a massive police roadblock. Scrubb had an idea, it was a stunt he saw Steve McQueen pull off at least a dozen times. Scrubb was going to gun the engine at just the right moment, hit a divet in the road and launch himself over the blockade onto the clear pavement and the freedom behind. Scrubb would have made it had he not failed to take into account just 5 things. Four of which involved minute miscalculations in the laws of physics, the fifth being that Scrubb had the bike in reverse. Scrubb will always be hailed as a renegade, even as video of his humiliating death goes viral on YouTube.
With no hope of progress further on the interstate, the group had just one option left....
sorry for the water mark but what can you do

Drat and double drat.
Quick vote for whovi who voted for our seer. Lol. I don't even know who was eaten. Brb
Edit: They ate scrub. A quiet player if my memory is right.
I'll check back later to see what excitement is afoot.
P.S. Thank you for letting me live to see round 1!

Why is it that the seer seems to too often an inactive player and is out of the game early??
No need to put in a SPV..
Will return later..
Oh yeah,
Guy came out early this morning and fixed my phone and internet..
The early bird gets the worm, but the second rat gets the cheese..

I wonder if that happens abnormally often or if human bias just makes it seem like.that Voting ultimate for now

Seems like 3 out of the last 4 games I have played it happened..

Well, it's not a great loss if the seer wasn't going to be around anyway. Really long night, too, which is due to either an inactive wolf or an active wolf not wanting to clear inactive players.
So no need to rush vote - I'll hold off until more people have come online.
It's a disease, not a punch line

I'm going to vote Paladin. Hasn't been on for a couple days... the wolves usually use a players inactiveness to their benefit; but I sure want to take away the excuse for night to be 24 hours.

I can't believe our Seer is gone in the first round again! No reason to protect Seer since we do not have one. Voting for Jayo to get in a vote but it is not unchangeable. I'll be back in the morning to see what everyone else has to say. I will change to an inactive if we have one during this round.
SMILE and people will wonder what you are up to!

Braingle seriously needs to take activity into account while giving out roles
Randomly voting for someone.
Every problem can be solved with a trick but finding that trick itself needs another trick.

no, that would make unfair advantages :p it must be random, but our luck really sucks

I really don't get why the seer is nearly ALWAYS the most inactive player in the game. Voting Mnk
Chemistry is awesome!
Chemistry is awesome!
We might be getting back to our old ways, I seem to recall a streak where we lost our Seer in the first 1/2 rounds several games in a row - inactives just kept being assigned the roles
For this game, probably won't be able to glean too much from the last round, standard ousting of an inactive and night timing out wasn't a surprise either.
Voting randomly for now, very subject to change

Our seer is gone.
Voting for froggygg.
Ooooooh! Nice!

I think the seer thing is just selective memory. For instance Snowy was seer 3 times in a row recently, with one by chunnie, cant remember others off the top of my head, but theres probably plenty of instances of active seers the brain just keeps the data that supports an idea and minimizes the rest.
From a coding perspective, it would make little sense to add a *weight* to seer assignment based on inactivity. Though not impossible, not likely....

Random selection is hardly ever fair, just... random. I feel like I haven't been seer in a long time, but I'm sure it was just a few months ago.
Oh well. I don't think I will just vote randomly - getting rid of Pal might speed things up.

Paladin has not been on for 3 days..
Did night time out?

In the Alamo city and working like a dog
Looks like I missed most of the round
Great story dan
I am surprised pal is missing
Will vote an inactive
This space is intentionally left blank.

Just Evi & Pal not voted, switching to Paladin

guess an inactive will only hurt in the long run :p

Not really relevant without a seer I guess pal is dead weight so may as well

The road was as treacherous as advertised, the bikers spread out in a V, like some beautiful flock of leather clad geese. The police sirens had faded behind them long ago and only the occasional cry of some scavenger bird broke the tense silence. A better writer would deftly craft a metaphor full of symbolism here, but when the Spider celebrates his 50th he goes hard, so the first thing he types must suffice.
The bikes were running on fumes, and each detour through the the harsh, rocky unpaved desert cost precious fuel. The gang though managed, barely, to sneak through to the Arizona state side with their engines still running. All of them save one. Had Paladin not felt the need to bust out some 'sweet moves' at the outset of the ride, his gauge would still point to the right of E, but he was nothing if not a constant hot dog.
The vote to abandon him in the desert was both exceptionally fast and brutally disheartening. No one knows whether it was the police or the coyotes that eventually brought him down, but we do know the scavenger birds had one more human to feast on that night.
YOU SHOT A HUMAN
(everyone has logged on today and the seer is dead so I would hope for a reasonably short night )
