My first completely normal WTB that I've modded in years.
No identities, no talkboxes nothing.
However, it doesn't necessarily have to be quick.

Heck yeah, you lads are. But one of the problems with the EU is that they will often have the people vote again until they get the desired vote. There are still a number of provisions against an Independent UK, but I do hope it becomes truly Independent soon enough.

I am very sorry, but I have to leave this game. I am leaving for a week to an overnight camp. No electronics allowed unfortunately, and I don't want to run the risk of this game starting while I am away. I will rejoin when I get back if the game hasn't already started.
I'm back! I plan on being home for the rest of the summer (unless I win a cruise or something), so I'm ready to play.
Also looking for a werewolf game but not sure what's going on over there...

Guys, I have to leave too for a 12 day camp. See you guys after.
Ooooooh! Nice!
Ooooooh! Nice!
Hopefully this can start soon. I'm thinking of modding a game next that breaks players into groups of three and doesn't give them immediate ideas on who's voting for whom. One team will have the boss, and another the rat, and each round will allow one player to be modfired if a single team unanimously votes for them. It should keep things interesting. I would hate to see the boss modifred out of nowhere, though, so if they or the rat are randomly picked I will not allow them to be fired so easily. Instead, I will give a clue to who the rat is and then penalize anyone who intentionally fires the rat without knowing it is the rat.
But let's get this game on the road, first!

Hi guys, I am back!
I was on a camp over the weekend.
Also LR, I hope you don't vote for Trump. We were doing a debate about him in History and who exactly is going to pay for this massive wall?

I won't vote for Hillary as I don't like her weakness on issues I find important such as free speech and terrorism. Trump has problems, but I find his aggressiveness against border control and addressing extremism refreshing. Multiple critics of the wall have stated that it might be too much to get built and will not likely be supported if it is, but there's nothing wrong with stricter border control.
I hope your class is sure to mention both sides of his issues so you're not just painting him as literally Hitler. Frankly, media outlets need to go back to school and learn how to be unbiased and focus on facts and/or wait until all the facts have come in. Good luck on the new PM, though. It seems she's a Tory and will likely be strong on immigration. Just as long as she isn't the next Thatcher.
Anyways, religion, politics, dinner and games. I hope the next boss will be present.

Cub, as long Clinton supports abortion, there's no chance I will ever support her.

I think Trump's rhetoric is over the top, how it would play out in real life would probably be watered down since the president has to work with Congress to change things. With Hillary, I don't agree with all of her stances either, but my problem with her is her lack of open honesty - too much she's trying to hide. The whole email thing is a good example - if she had just said, "hey, I wasn't thinking, I made a mistake" and taken the flack for it, instead of trying to justify things and cause a whole expensive investigation, I'd respect her more.
No idea who I will vote for yet.
Let's get this started!

LR: Why is it that when a rich, powerful man spews out ignorant bullcrap, people describe him as refreshing, but when a poor nobody does it, people call him an uneducated hick?
To be fair, Hillary is every bit as bad, just more subtle about it, which could be more dangerous. It's a matter of choosing the lesser of two evils, really. Sad how this is what it has come down to.
My main issue with Trump is that stupid people all over America are listening to him and receiving validation for their bigoted opinions.
As for abortion, I remember when I too was idealistic about the worth of a human life. Sure, fetuses are living beings with their own set of DNA, and you might be able to convince me that killing them is morally wrong, but making abortion readily available offers many societal benefits. It's like gay marriage or euthanasia - if you don't like it, you don't have to do it, but it's unreasonable to deny others of that option just because you are personally uncomfortable with it.
On a lighter note, may I suggest "Trump or Hillary and why?" as a possible psych question?

Shadows, in this day and age it is refreshing to hear a politician address these issues without inoffensive and meaningless statements like Obama and Hillary are doing. Unwilling to mention Islamic Terrorism influenced by a specific ideology or call out racist ideologies on all sides. Though I don't agree with everything Trump says, it's really easy to make anyone out to be a "bigot" today just for disagreeing with narratives. I'm personally 100% against the Black Lives Matter narrative (despite my admission that police need to be trained better and, obviously, that black lives matter) because of how racist, inaccurate, and hysterical it is as a movement. But because of its name and the demonizing that goes on even being black and disagreeing with BLM can lead to a lot of hate without reason. Many of us liberals are getting tired of the identity politics of the far left and thus agree with some of the things that Trump says because he may be the lesser of two evils.
I would love to vote for a skeptical and rational president who doesn't pander and cares about the truth, but we're stuck with these two here in the states.

That sounds like a good defense for slavery, too. I mean, really: having some person do all of the hard work without pay and minimal upkeep is super beneficial for the economy, production, and could even end homelessness. If you don't want a slave, don't own one. You could even boycott businesses who use them, if it makes you feel better. Oh, hey, and death penalty! Why even have jails anymore? If you get even remotely caught while doing something illegal, we should just kill you. HUGE societal benefits. Don't like it, don't do anything illegal. ......... Aaaand I just realized you tossed in "gay marriage" (I prefer the term "marriage equality") with ENDING HUMAN LIFE. "Hey man, orange juice or forced frontal lobotomies. We should all have choices."
But all snark aside, that's a poor defense or reasoning for legalized abortion. Or anything, really. We are in a society, we can't have completely individualized morality. Not talking religious-based, I mean no relativism. You'd have to let everyone do everything because it was "right for them." Slippery slope.

I am at all times thankful for the privilege of living in the USA and do take interest in it's direction, but I do not have the right to vote so I like to stay mum on things political. At least most of the time.

Well are those two the only choice? If so we either have Hillary who seems to be weak on terrorism and free speech, or Trump which I think is bigoted and racist and thinks that all Muslims are terrorists and all Mexicans are criminals and stereotypes a lot and wants to build this massive wall for no reason.
I don't know.

LR: Thanks for the explanation. I still think Trump goes over the top with his refreshing non-PC speech, but I see where you're coming from.
Flint: Don't worry about coming off as rude. I grouped those issues together because they are all direct choices that people should be able to make for themselves, whereas slavery or the death penalty are not.

Yeah, I'll grant you that Trump is a loudmouth. And Cub, you got to watch it with those strawman arguments. Many, many things have been said about Trump that are based on nothing but fearmongering. Please Google the other side to see both perspectives. I saw a video where a young black kid got hate because he supported Trump. The main Trump protester in the video claimed that Trump wanted to send African Americans back to Africa. Propaganda helps no one.
Anyways, on to something cuter. Yes, I like your avatar as well, Fint. Chi's Sweet Home was a cute show.
The 4th Doctor will always be the best doctor.
I wonder if we have to start over again? :/
