That was a nice teaser.

Wow...that was hard. I came up w/ 13 and then gave up. Good one.
there were some i found that werent in the answer like board
NK Fire, the body said that all words must contain the central V. But, I'm glad you liked it.
OMG I WOULD NOT TAKE MY TIME TO THINK OF ALL THE WORDS! IT WAS SO HARD!
very nice one!
kinda lost count but got quite few
very kewl teaser
very kewl teaser
Good one.
Stopped at 20, didn't know deva...time to check up on my Hindu gods...my dictionary (a large, full size one) does not list voe?

Yay got 26!! good job!
OMG! That was so hard and fun but i gave up after nine words-short attention span- i liked it though!
Very chalenging, only got about 19. Awesome job though, keep them coming.
Great one, keep these coming
I ONLY GOT OVERBOARD.
DOES THAT COUNT
I WAS TO LAZY TO GET THE REST...
GOOD ONE TAMMY.

I've just stopped at six words to say it's a real hummer of a teaser, now back to work.
I missed some common words, but some of the "out there" words I missed too. Really good teaser. I enjoyed it.
you said you cant use a letter twice so that stopped me from putting overboard whats up??
Excellent!!
Whew!!! GREAT one!
That was a great one! I got 19! YAY! Keep up the good work!
i feel good now . i got 24 . i was certain everyone would do better than i did . then again this isn't a math question or a logic-grid which always makes me want to cry
Very good teaser. I can't find deva in the dictionary. Can anyone define that one? And I'm not sure bravoed is a word.
I only got 15 words from the list of correct answers. But I listed 8 that were not included on the listed. Fun word puzzle.
wat about rode???
Tam ur my man! That was a great teaser, unlike some others that we have already had... Infact, it was so good you should celebrate! I recommend a pizza party. My only concern was that it was a little too easy. I got all the genious level words in like a minuet. Once again, congratulations and I hope you have a great time celebrating your wonderful teaser! NICE JOB!!
i love word mines and scrabble. what about var?
Did I miss something?? Thought no letter could be used twice in same word?? Hmmm
it was a challenge...i got exactly the average lots of fun!
A lot of you are not reading the "rules" I guess. It clearly states that EVERY work must contain a "V" so words like "bore" don't count. Also, OVERBOARD is ok since there are two "O's" and two "R's" in the letters provided so therefore you aren't using "the same letter" twice when spelling OVERBOARD. I thought it was a great teaser by the way.
Great teaser. Fun to play around with the different possibiliies. I think I just about averaged out.
I got 31 words, but only 7 of them were on the list shown. What happened to dear, bear, etc? I love these puzzles.
LOVED IT! definetley going into my favs.
thanks for the fun!
thanks for the fun!
great one!!!
This was a great teaser. I got 24 , but some of your words were new to me...like voe and bravoed. Keep up the good work. I tell my grandkids that we are never too old to learn new things.
Loved it. Made me think for a change. Following words not on list: vent, vane, evade, ver
bode
uhhhh.... ya.....i liked it, but i didnt take the time to think of all the words.
IT CLEARLY SHOWS IT HAS TO HAVE THE V IN IT!!!! NO WORDS LIKE BEAR!!!!
GREAT TEASER!!!!! KEEP EM COMIN!!!
GREAT TEASER!!!!! KEEP EM COMIN!!!
Love it!
Nice one.. not sure I would call it a teaser though. It's a nice mind puzzle.
I got 19 before I went to the internet anagram generator for some hints.. most of which were words I never knew existed ^_^
And yeah... some people need to read the rules a little better. Keep up the good work!

Great teaser. I was getting so many words that I reread the rules (unlike others )) Then I realized the 'v' factor...Did better than some but nowhere near the genius level..Loved the concept
i was sorta rushed so i didn't get a lot, actually i got only 1, the word dove.
Nice, but I think one is only limited by time on their hands, and by actually reading the rules. Some words were obscure but reachable, again, given the time to find them.
i only got one
GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
well, i guess i'm below average then.
i got 5 words, then got bored, great teaser though. loved it!
Excellent!
Man, I got overboard, but didn't realize that the letters didn't need to be connected to form a word.
But a fun teaser none-the-less! I've always been fond of word games!

What do you mean when you say "the letters do not have to be connected"??? In every word I know about, the letters are connected, except maybe hyphenated words. The rule that each word must contain the letter V was clear enough, but the rest of the instructions could have been clearer, I thought.
We get these in a weekly newspaper down here in the antipodes. This one was actually pretty easy compared to some I've come across - I found "overboard" as soon as I looked at the letters. But then, I have had practice ;-)
This is one of my favorite teasers! I loved it! More like this one, please!
Thanks for a good one!
Thanks for a good one!
I only got 9 words. Some that I didn't get was so easy... I can't believe I missed them. Fun teaser!
Decent. I got 26 .Actually I got 4 that you didn't use.
A very fantastic and tough teaser! (No matter what everyone else is saying about this teaser, you did a great job of stating that the letter V will be used in ALL of the answers.! ) Keep up the fantastic work Many of us can enjoy the workout!
I got my 12, including BRAVADO. A good teaser.
man, i was doin fine. i found 23 words. then i tried doin with just the middle letter 'v'. only found five words before i gave up & got back to work. this is a good one. will put in my favs.
What about VERBRADO ?
I had a problem with the instructions. Although I got 20 words I didn't include some that I thought were variations of the same word but were included in the answers and if I had made plurals which were permissable I could have nearly doubled my score. Other than that I enjoyed the puzzle very much.
nice one. I started realin out the words and then my 'a-d-d' kicked in and i went off to something else. I kinda like these puzzles where there are fewer words to be made but much harder to get so you need to think thru each word.
fun though

Only got four. . . Really fun, though!
YAY!!! I got 24.
HAHA THAT WAS A FUN ONE!!
Good teaser, lots of fun. I didn't think that acronyms & abbreviations like AVE & VAR were allowed. I'm not familiar with VOE either, tried looking it up and didn't find a def.

Very good. Have to remember that all words must contain the "v". I found lots more including drover, ravel, eve, ever...all confirmed in dictionaries...
i got one but i am to tired to figure out more.
I do not understand how so many people can try this teaser when they clearly cannot even read! The directions are clear as day. There are only 28 correct answers and they are all listed, and yes, they are all real words. PLEASE, read directions before you post a comment!!
Great teaser Tammy

it was ok
Nice teaser... But you missed a word.
Verbrado: It's a musical term. When a person's singing or playing some sort of instrument, it's the term given to the kinda shaking sound that's there sometimes.

I didn't get ave(either abbreviation for avenue or the Latin word [as in "Ave Maria"]), aver (no idea), bravoed (is there a past tense of bravo?), deva (I thought it was "dIva"), drover (say what?), rev (this never seems to be a real word to me term. ), var (abbreviation for "variation?"), or voe (clueless).
BTW
The musical term is "Vibrato."

Ignore the word "term" near the end - don't know where that came from...
the first word i saw was overboard!
Wow, that was pleasantly difficult . I only came up with 18 words. I can't believe I missed 'adverb!' I love grammar...great teaser!
Wowzers...
Really enjoyed this one!! Would like to see more teasers like this!
Really liked this one, was easy for me as I enjoy those wordplays all the time
I got 17~love these! More, please
great teaser, but please define for me: var, voe, deva, and the plurals people have cited. Thank you.
I was curious about why the letters were put in a grid when they could be in any order provided a V was included. Made me feel I must have been doing something wrong.
This teaser was somewhat easy, but I didn't even know a few of those words existed! Like voe and var?? Odd.
Great teaser

finally... something im good at ----thats what happens when you do the daily jumble in the paper every day for 20 yrs. love these ....
gimme more...
gimme more...
I thought they all had to start with the central "v" so its no wonder I only got two. Maybe I should read the directions better.
Fun for me! Got 16 and decided time to move on. Using the "V" in every word was tough, but grateful for the two "O's" and "R's." Found myself wishing for an "L" many times. Thanks!
This was fun! I got 20, 19 of which were on the list. The one that wasn't was "REBAR" (used to reinforce concrete). I also spotted the word "DROVED" at dictionary.com when I was checking whether "ROOVED" was a word, and clicked on it to see what it was .. and noticed there was a DROVER that worked with this puzzle (DROVED doesn't, because of the two D's). So I'm not counting that one, but if I did count it I'd have 21.
I have to "doh!" over ABOVE and OVERDO. WHooooOOps!
The others I didn't get were all confirmed by dictionary.com: ave, aver, deva, overbroad, var, and voe. To anyone who is unsure of meanings of any of the words: look 'em up!

Thank you Qrystal for your comment and glad to know you had fun!
Cool
I got overboard right away and was on a roll...till I read the directions that the words had to contain the "v." Then I ended up with only 17! Great job!
Good teaser - though aren't there more than 28 words? here's a few i thought of (depends on the context of the dictionary though)
arvo -afternoon
avo -A subdivision of currency, equal to a 1/100th of a Macanese pataca
bevor - A bevor is a piece of plate armour designed to protect the neck, much like a gorget. A bevor can be made of a single solid piece or multiple .
drave - Simple past of drive
vade - To fade; hence, to vanish.

Not using the same letter twice should have been explained better, like don't use the same letter twice in one word. Lots of us were confused on that one, but I just went ahead as it seemed impossible the other way.
Cute though

Not using the same letter twice is par for the course in this type of teaser. The middle letter usage was also explained in the rules and again is not an abnormal requirement in these puzzles. The freedom to use any letter was nice as I have usually seen it played much like Boggle - in that the letters had to be connected.
A good teaser - I didn't sit and find them all as being a holiday weekend and expecting 25+ people at my house tomorrow, I am a bit pressed for time.

Excellent teaser. I thought I was brilliant as I got 35 easily, but I neglected to notice the "each word must contain the letter "V" " comment. Thanks for a good one! Nicely done!
Happy Easter and Passover - especially to those who are cooking a big dinner!
Got Them all. Great teaser wish there were more like this one. I had a list going and then reread it and say the v so had to start Over. Really really enjoyed this because I love word games. I also got bevor and drave. Best one ever. Thanks for posting. happy Easter and passover to everyone.
After sitting here for half an hour, I got all of them! (But only with the help of google, though.)
Google is my friend. That is all I'm saying.
Who is this "Google"? S/he must be a genius!
