(Estimate/Never)^(+Thinking) - 2
Hint
"^" is the mathematical sign for "to the power of".Answer
Never underestimate the power of positive thinking."Never" is under "estimate", and this is raised "to the power of positive thinking." The "to" is removed by subtracting it at the end.

That was well thought out, but the word "Never" should be placed under the word "Estimate"
IT WAS!!!
I liked this teaser but I don't understand why the word "to" needs to be in there.
That was fun! Really liked it! Nice job!
inspired me enough to add it to my favs
Yeah i think the -2 is unnecessary.
Yeah i think the -2 is unnecessary.
it is correct as written
and very well done
and very well done
Please explain the need for the "-2"
the symbol ^ is
to the power of
-2 tells you to remove the word
"to" (as previously explained)

Thank you schatzy.
very good. my brain cells loved it
nice
Very good puzzle, great hint as well for those waking up on a Monday morning and not properly in gear yet ;)
Good job
Not sure about this one. I didn't get it and when I read the answer, it seemed that the explanation is more complicated than the rebus. Just my opinion, and thanks for posting. It sure got me thinking.
Great teaser.Well written and easily solved if you pay attention to what you are reading.
Can't believe I actually got this one.
This is a good one! I got it, but I didn't, because I couldn't figure out what the minus or negative two could mean. I understand now why it's there, but I think it would be fine without it. I think more people were thrown off by the negaative or minus two than anything else. But it's a good teaser!!!
I guessed it right away, but I didn't think I was correct because on my computer the word "never " was after "estimate." Or am I missing something--is the slash supposed to mean "under"?
Good teaser otherwise, and a positive way to start the day!

woohoo got it. Happy St. Patty's Day
A fine teaser perfectly done! I gave up too soon to get it, but I enjoyed the answer and the smarter comments.
OOPS! I meant to say "...the smarter of the comments!"
That was good. The -2 wasn't necessary.
Didn't get it at all-- MY brain was in monday morning haze mode..
If the -2 had not been given, then that old saying would read "Never underestimate to the power...etc. The -2 IS necessary.
This was perfect as is! Very well written and very creative. Took some time to figure it out...
very good quiz...quite creative!
this was great! tough "the power of" took me a bit of time.
Yeah! This is the first rebus I've gotten!
great- completely stumped me!
Nice one, I wasn't thinking straight, so I didn't recongise that estimate/never was in fraction form.
Never been a rebus fan. Either you get them right away and they seem really easy (like this one), or you're stumped and they seem really hard.
Ahh, haha, I see ... the -2 threw me, but I get it now.
Wow! This has got to be one of the easiest rebuses I've ever seen. Which, of course, just goes to prove my nerdiness...
Awesome Job! Totally amazing!
Awesome Job! Totally amazing!
I got the positive thinking part, but didn't get the estimate...maybe put the "never" below "estimate". Nice teaser!
Didn't get it.
Why is the -2 there?
Not my kind of thing I guess.
Thanks Anyway.

Hmm..Kudos to those who 'got' it. And thanks to to the person who posted it. I was inspired but clueless.
I love these kind of puzzles. I have to agree with other brainlgers, the word Never should be under the word Estimate. I thought it was Never over estimate. I also think the answer was good, clear, and precise. I like that.
Very well written and though I did not get it , I loved it THX.
Good teaser. I got it.
I really loved the - 2 at the end. So many Rebuses are close but you have to guess. This one is perfect. Great

For those who don't understand:
"estimate/never" means estimate divided by never which means that the never is under the estimate.
So far that means we have "never underestimate". Then that's "to the power of positive thinking"
So we have "never underestimate to the power of positive thinking"
You then take the 2 ('to') away to get
"never underestimate the power of positive thinking"
I think it's brilliant

Absolutely Brilliant! Best Rebus I ever saw!
Nice one! I love when math and logic collide.
Good one! I love these!
sweet puzzle! I like it!
I had to look at the answer, but this is really good now that I see it! Great job, great rebus.
ummm.....ok.
I consider the '- 2' to be unnecessary for the following reasons: I've never read a division statement as 'denominator under numerator' and I rarely ever read the positive sign outloud. If you are going to stretch the mathmatical terminology to get those two parts, why is it necessary then to be strict on the terminology for 'to the power of' but still not account for the fact that some people, like me, can also read it as 'raised to the power of'?

the "-2" is not necessary, if it is then there should have been a "-raised" as well..
I do not know about anyone else, BUT The word never was NOT under the word estimate on my computer, so the rebus made no sense to me. Sorry, but that is not the way it was
Babe, in this rebus, the word "never" IS under the word "estimate;" to wit: "estimate/never," where the virgule is used to indicate the operation of division, commonly represented as x over y, or, conversely, y under x.
Very easy and straightforward.
Well written and easy for me.
Had a bit of trouble with it for a few minutes as I was looking at ^2 as "squared" instead of "to the power of two". Once I switched tracks with my thinking, it was easy.
Not bad, but I don't think the "-2" was necessary. Even some hymns and pop music songs don't rhyme perfectly.
Not a chance. But good to read the answer I seem to have problems with the answer being too close to the hint, so I can't click on the hint without the answer being in view. Ah well.
My favorite rebus ever. But, I'm a total math geek. I could see how this would not work for a wide audience. I felt a little dumb because for a moment I held both of these thoughts in my head: "Well, it should be 'never underestimate to the power of positive thinking'", and "Why the heck is that '-2' at the end?". Oh!
Wonderfully clever.

Very clever, thanks!
