You will need a piece of paper and a working pen for this one. In the center of the piece of paper, write out the following (draw the I without serifs):
250 = IX
The challenge: Draw four lines, two lines on each side of the equation, to make the equation true.
You cannot:
Change the = into a not-equal sign.
Manipulate the paper in any way.
Draw any curves.
Draw any dots or points.

On the left side of the equation, write a 1 above the number 250, and draw a division bar between the 1 and the 250.On the right side, draw a horizontal line through the IX, such that it looks like a fraction bar. Next, connect the lower-left tip of the X with the intersection of the horizontal line and the I.
You should have:
1/250 = IV/M, which is true (they both equal .004).
