Spoonerisms are two words whose first sounds have been traded. They are named after a Reverend Spooner. In the columns below, six pairs of words have been "Spoonerized", creating two new words. They have been changed phonetically, so the original words may have different spellings.

Maybe it was only me, but I thought the directions were a bit confusing. I didn't understand that the results were supposed to be familiar phrases. . I like the idea, though!
I liked it - once I figured out the one that was "candy bar". The spare tire one is a little fishy - since I don't pronouce spare like spear.

Nice puzzle. To the previous commenter, you are pronouncing the wrong word. It isn't 'tear' like a drop falling from your eye, it is 'tear' like what you do to a piece of paper.
