The question asks for the age of the guy. This is clearly 60. While he may have only celebrated 15 birthdays, this is not the same as age.
ymiroc is absolutely right. -----
The wording of the teaser ought to be changed to something like: -----
"A guy was born in 1940 and died in 2000 a few days after his 15th birthday. How is this possible??"

Sorry about the last post.... Accidentally clicked the add comment button... anyways, I thought he was chryogenically frozen...
he could of been born in room number 1940
I liked it, I *should* have gotten it right away. Nice teaser, a classic trick.
weird but ok
I completely agree with the statement "Age is different from the number of birthdays", so I have submitted a correction :-\
However, I think that it may have been seen before, being over a year old now, and so it may* not go through. It always just may have been one that is not commonly seen
But otherwise a very clever teaser, and I enjoyed it
Though, my first thoughts were "Room number 1940", followed by "Duplicate"
Glad to see I was wrong - you caught me at any rate!

Correction, I misread the date - almost five years
yeuye, i thought about him being frozen too...liked this one though....even if the question was not properly structures, idea behind it is nice..
Well it says how many YEARS old , so logically it's 60 years or however many, because they celebrate it on the 28th,
that would suck if you only celebrated ur bday every 4 years..
His 15th birthday was in 2000. He died in 2002. Is 2 years later "shortly after"?
????????????????
