jeez, that one was hard!
"good news" - well done. Should be rated higher.
First good news of the day.

Should have got that it was so easy after i knew it i saw the jumpinggoing down , the good and the news I just could not see that other jumping and i didnt get it .but it was fun trying. it really gave my mind a workout thx
Good One, but doesn't it read from left to right, 'jumping down and up', but still clever and fun to work out.
Excellent, shows I need lot of practice. Keep them coming, buddies

Contrary to my peers great reviews, I would say that is one of the worst 'riddles' I have ever read. If you are a fan of anograms, therein lies many possibilities concerning an answer, especially to that mess.
What phrase is represented? It could be any number of them. If you insist on writing riddles, confine the answers; this is not a philosophy class.

I love rebus teasers, thank you
Yup, it was slightly incorrect in that jumping 'up' would have been better in the first row, but not a huge mistake.

Gosh! I'm usually good at these!! This one got me -- BIG TIME!! Loved it!
First off this was a good teaser and I enjoyed it.
Now depending on where I am at the time, sometime I would have to jump down before I can jump up. But then I would have had to have jumped, hopped or climbed up there in the first place, like from a pub or barstool. It's like my teacher says, you can't 'go back and forth', you have to go forth first, and so we really go forth and back.

Very nice!!
Ah, yes, that well known English phrase "Jumping up and down over good news."
Easy, but fun and clever Fish. Thanks for submitting!
XLNT! i luv bus bus
Styme's comment is somewhat of a "riddle," but I truly enjoyed this REBUS. I got the "GD NEWS," but didn't spend enough time to get the jumping done.
Now I'll jump on into the day. Thanks, Fish!

I think this was a super teaser.
I noticed some negative comments, probably from those who did not solve the puzzle.
Apparently, my mind must have been looking for a trick I noticed the answer right away. But, a very excellant teaser, for a commonly used phrase. GJ, Fish!
Only got the jumping up and down part. Still a good one!
I had to look at the answer and than it still took me like five minutes to get it.
Very good! I love it!
Fun Fishmed! Fairly easy, but clever!
Very Cute
I like this a lot. Once I saw the palidrome and discovered that I should be reading down instead of right, I got it.
The over good news was the easy part.
The over good news was the easy part.
I'm jumping up and down over the good news that I got it right. Yay.
Tsk tsk to all those people who got all negative about this one. Who's to say that the jumps have to be read left to right anyways? And this has nothing to do with anagrams. Sheesh.

Hadn't seen this one before. Easy, but very fun and clever in the way it was set up.
Good one. It was very clever. I do actually agree that the way it is set up it reads "jumping down and up" but a smart person could figure out that the answer was "jumping up and down". I enjoyed it! Very clever... on to one of my favorites!
I got it completely -- first one!
Got this after some thinking. Am not good at rebus teasers, but am now getting used to them and now have started liking them too. This one encouraged me to long for more. Thanks.
Great rebus fishman. Loved it and I don't think I have every seen this one yet. More please?

Very, very, clever!
Yah!! I got it after a while - it's a genuine rebus; don't know what some are fussing about! Thanks.
Nice and easy one.
Easy but fun! Thanks!
Quite possibly the best teaser I have ever done, thank you
heyman, what does this rebus have to do with palindromes??
rebuses are not usually my thing, but this one I at least attempted; I got as far as 'jumping' and 'good news' but didn't see jumping go up as well. oh, well, maybe next time.

That was a good one!
Well, that one did not take long to get. At least it was very easy for me this time. I guess over the years I have learned how to get these. Finally!
I only figured out the "Jumping up and down" part.
I'm with: TBTabby; never heard of the good news part?
Righteous Rebus. But would have been axed had it been submitted under the new insane rules propagated by the out-of-control Editorial oligarchs.
(read the FAQ to see the following, verbatim)
+Putting a word or letters on another word to make "on" or "over".
+Spelling a word/letters down to make the word "down".
+Spelling a word/letters up to make the word "up".
Also ... the repetitive (over, under) word 'news' could be opted by the Eds as expressing 'new, new' or 'two new' (and therefore disallowed - as some of ours have been) and not 'news'.
Also, we just had a Rebus approved that had been in faux queue* for OVER (much !) a week and have one that is STILL in faux queue* for OVER TWO MONTHS. ALL our pending submittals have been there OVER a week !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*'faux queue' - say it aloud - it's HILARIOUS !!!!!
Also, this Rebus was submitted (and approved for TOTD) by the RANKING Editor. Isn't THAT a kick !!!

Still Laughing - in spite of it all.

Glad that those of you who liked it, did so. As to being TOTD, that is up to Jake and not at our request. It is based on teaser popularity, as far as I know. Beyond that, it is all up to Jake what is and isn't TOTD. Check out my other stuff.
Fun, easy and entertaining teaser. I got it right away.
