Answer
dental flosslines 1-2: Since, for humans, there is a maximum of thirty-two teeth, sixteen upper and sixteen lower, there are, at most, thirty gaps ("chasms") between these teeth, fifteen between the upper teeth and fifteen between the lower teeth.
lines 3-4: One usually flosses "post-consumption", or after eating.
lines 5-6: It is a good practice to floss daily. Dental floss is like string, therefore the play on words "stringing you along".

Nice riddle with clever clues
Thanks.
Hahaha, "Removing remnant particles dirty". Just too good! I needed all the clues to get it. I had it wrong until I read line 6.
Really fun and well done!

Lines 3 and 4 gave it away. Nice one and fun!
Very easy. Happy Mothers Day to all the great mother's.
I can't say I got it, but I can admit I need to floss more often!
Actually - an adult human has 32 teeth. There are four wisdom teeth that come through in adulthood (unless of course you have to have surgery because they are impacted) but the teaser says "up to thirty! which is wrong.
The teaser says "steep chasms, up to thirty", not teeth. The "chasms" are the gaps between the teeth. This number of gaps is based on a maximum of thirty-two teeth, sixteen upper teeth and sixteen lower teeth. For each set of up to sixteen teeth, there are up to fifteen gaps. Therefore, there are up to thirty gaps, fifteen for the upper teeth plus fifteen for the lower teeth.
Ah, yes, I see that now. Thanks for clarifying.
