Oh what a beautiful morning, oh what a beautiful day
I've got a beautiful feeling
Everything's going my way
I remember when i was a child my mom would sometimes sing that to wake me & my sister up.
So let's get our surreys with the fringe on top and ride into the round...

Ok, I am cleared. One thing I don't understand is why Jayo would put a cleared player in a majority with him. Now they are both gone.
DrHoo - Cleared
FatHead - NOT Cleared
froggygg - NOT Cleared
HABS2933 - NOT Cleared
RGW4 - NOT Cleared
snowmonster - Cleared
Froggy's been kinda quite this game, so I'm watching her.
Watching HABS, don't know what to think of her.
Still suspect FatHead.
Randy, I don't suspect too much, but gotta consider anything with him.
Will place a vote on FatHead. Subject to change.
edit - after reading the Boss's answer, they sound more female than male, so I "may" be changing my vote later this round. IDK yet though. Will wait to see what others say.

Take all sorrow out of life and you take away all richness, and depth, and tenderness. The capacity of sorrow belongs to our grandeur. It is the furnace that melts hearts together in love.

I thought the boss sounded female too, so if we are right, tat leaves Snow or Froggy. Since Snow is cleared it would mean it has to be froggy.
I don't cry when an athlete falls, I am the one yelling at him to get on his feet, suck it up and play through the pain. You trained your whole life for this. See it through.
I recall one time when one of the boys was about 7, he was checked from behind and slid head first into the boards on his back. I was yelling at him to get up and sake it off. I felt he was over playing it. Even later in the ER with him in a neck brace strapped to backboard I told him he needed to toughen up.
and yeah Randy I know, I am telling you again how the memo does not fit me. Those who play with me enough know that I hold winning in high regard. Stopping to help that downed athlete, while admirable is going to cost you a medal. After all the training and expense that went into making it to the Olympics you're a fool to jeopardize it all to be a nice guy.
I don't even like the Olympics. I find them to be quite boring.
I don't see it being Froggy, so regardless of the memo sounding feminine, I will once again vote RANDY

Maybe the dog only brings the ball back because he thinks you like throwing it.

Boss may sound female, but doesn't mean they are. I don't see Randy crying over something like this either - so I'll stick with my vote for FatHead.
The info on crying wasn't necessary to share, unless you were trying to sound female. Way too easy - IDK, it could be froggy, she likes to be honest, and maybe she's hoping we'll assume it's a sensitive man. . . . IDK, I just don't know. . . . and although you are tough on athletes HABS, that doesn't mean it wouldn't touch your heart to see one athlete help another athlete that's down. . . . just sayin. So, I'm not ruling you out either.

I wouldn't expect the first place athlete to stop and help another player, but definitely someone not in the running for a medal who helps out is tops in my book.
I love the Olympics. It's the one time I watch sports that I don't normally follow - love the underdog stories, the unlikely winners. Definitely anything BUT boring.
So Boss, would a "Chariots of Fire" musical meet the criteria? I love that film, and I'm first to admit it's very British. Gosh, can you imagine, the big hit song from that musical - "I Won't Run on Sunday"!!
I'm looking at RGW as a dark horse Boss candidate.

I am still pissed. I finished my one job today around 10 am pst, then reset my trip meter and started to drive my van to ensure I had enough miles on it that the on board computer would be able to read all the sensors. I put 115 miles on it, over 95 of them on the freeway going 65 mph... traffic was light so it was from one stand point, a nice drive. I read what you said Habs last round, and believe me today, I was thinking it may be time... but I need a van for work; and I don't really want my next new vehicle to be a van, but a pick up truck. I do not want to try and work out of a pick up truck, it is meant for when I retire.
Anyway, back to the game. I will pause here, I came into this round without reading what the memo said... so when you see the edit, you'll know why.
Edit - Wow, that does not sound like me at all. I will sometimes watch the closing show when I watched most of the Olympics, which is usually the winter one as I am not into watching runners run; but I hardly ever watch the opening ceremony except maybe to see the flame be lit. Like you Habs, I tell them to tough it out, but as Hoo said, maybe if it's someone in the back of the pack and you know you can't win anyway, it is the right thing to do.
I have to vote for someone. At this point in the game, it is not a good idea to try and clear someone because we may only have a couple rounds. That is what both Habs and Hoo are doing this round by joining together in a vote on me. Snowy is cleared, but we did lose Aishi. Habs is basically doing the same thing to Hoo as Jayo did to Aishi (correction, Hoo joined Habs, so he is in control of that voting move). I was not thinking Habs is the boss, but because Hoo is cleared; she may be helping to get others to join his vote so as to fire him for being in a majority. Though that may make her more of a rat then the boss. IDK at this point in the game, this is when I always over think it.
My vote for now is for froggy 2nd Edit - confirmed

I am neither the rat nor the boss. I am but a mere griunt.
Randy, what about a pivk-up with an enclosed trailer? That way you have the truck you want but aren't using it to haul all yoyr stjff around.
Once you retire, you can sell the trailer (they seem to hold there calue some) and you will still have the truck you want.
I'm not much of a Ford fan, but the 450 is nice.
And Snow, I would wonder what the heck the guy was doing, giving up his chance of besting other athletes. Even if he were not in a position to win. You are ALWAYS competing against yourself and teying to beat your previous best. And no one wants to come in last.
There is a time for sportsmanship and a time to play to win.

Thanks for the idea Habs, but parking around some jobs around here is hard enough, but to add a 4-8 foot trailer behind my truck would not always work... plus it doesn't help much when I need to haul pipe. I also don't want to put a ladder rack on my new truck and one of my ladders is a 34 foot extension ladder (17'). I will see if I can get it repaired tomorrow, if the idea the smog tech told me to try doesn't work.
I also disagree that there is a time for sportsmanship and a time to play to win. It may not be what you meant, but it sounds like you think it's okay to trip someone while you're running, as long as it gets you ahead of them. Sportsmanship should always be a part of an athletes method of going for the win. Of course, that doesn't mean you have to stop trying to win to help someone up, just don't help them to go down. I know not all athletes live by that philosophy, but maybe that's why there are rules and referees to judge the events.

HABS sounds either smart or rat-like, I can't tell which. I guess froggygg has my vote.
Shogi - or Japanese chess - is better than regular chess. You should visit 81Dojo.com to play shogi.

I have absolutely no problem with being cleared but, I am not the Boss or the Rat.
To be honest, I really don't know what I would do if I were competing for something only to see an opponent struggle in some way - Would I give up my chance to win to help them or continue on and hope that someone else would help...
I'm still sticking with my vote for Randy.
SMILE and people will wonder what you are up to!

WHOA! WHOA! WHOA! AT what point did I say it was okay to trip someone? I would never intentionally hurt someone to get ahead. I take exception to the fact anyone would think I felt that way.
I merely said that I would not throw away my moment of glory to help someone else see theirs. If you can't handle real completion, then stay in the litte leagues where "everyone is equal and all deserve a chance to play."
I agree which is why . I think anyone caught breaking a serious rule or attempting to actually hurt another competitor and uses any force outside what is allowed in that particular sport should face stiff sanctions including fines and suspensions.
I do not advocate cheating in any form.
Cheating is useless and proves nothing. IT is like getting into a fight with a feeble old man - if you win - so what? And if you lose, how pathetic are you?
No I would never intentionally take another player out of the running.

I'm not sure what would even make you think I did. I have not tried to persuade anyone to vote in any particular way or tried to talk them out of a vote. I have not intentionally brought suspicion upon myself. AT no point have I done anything ever remotely rodent.
As I believe you are the rat, and you are now calling my vote into question (by accusing me). I am even more determined to keep it where it is.

Habs, I didn't say you said that, I said, "It may not be what you meant, but it sounds like you think it's okay to trip someone while you're running"... you shouldn't get so defensive. I never felt you would trip someone; it is just that you made it sound like winning was everything regardless of anything else going on. I have seen Olympic runners stop and help others along their race, especially in a marathon race, where if you are not in the front lead area the chances of getting a medal is highly doubtful.
I believe it was in the last Los Angeles Summer Olympics, one runner was dragging themselves into the final lap. Other runners would come up behind (I think it was a she) her and give her words of encouragement...and someone did stop and walked beside her for a bit.
Anyway, this round is almost over. Let's see who survives, shall we?
