I knew when I saw Froggy's vote last night it was over. Thanks Deb for hosting.
I also figured Spider was my rat, but he was on the firing block the same as everyone else and his firing gave me an extra round. I was confused enough as to whether he was or wasn't as there was nothing on the firing list to identify him as the rat. I hadn't seen him try to sway votes away from me at all during the Momma Mia round, so I wasn't sure then who my rat was; thought it might have been Snowy.
I have things to say about the prompts... but let me just talk about the last one for a bit. The Special Olympics is a World Olympic event... if you can watch the young athletes race without getting a tear in the corner of your eye at how many of them put sportsmanship way higher than winning (especially those with Down Syndrome), then you probably should not watch them. I am not a tough old guy without feelings, I can shed simple tears when I am happy or see something that makes me sad.
Anyway , I have to go to work now. It is raining and I do need to get my van fixed today (real life, real thing)... I will comment about the prompts later today. Thanks again.

Great game Randy! You almost made it. I don't know why, but I just had a feeling from the beginning that you were the Boss.
I agree with your comment above about The Special Olympics. How can you not cry watching these young athletes compete?
Thanks for modding a great game, Whov.
SMILE and people will wonder what you are up to!

I understand exactly where you're coming from Randy. My oldest is a special needs individual, who participated in the schools version of special olypics, and these kids try their hardest. It's a pleasure to watch them, even though you know, physically, they are struggling. My son can't run or move like he used to when he was younger - bad hips are the cause I guess, but I remember, and those are precious memories.
Congrats to those that got it right. In my mind, I was really considering Froggy.
Take all sorrow out of life and you take away all richness, and depth, and tenderness. The capacity of sorrow belongs to our grandeur. It is the furnace that melts hearts together in love.

Special Olympics are a different thing. Those are all aboit participation, inclusion, and sportsmanship. My mother's older brother had Down Syndrome, and a good friend's eldest is severly autistic. So I have a special place in my heart for people with special needs. I used to "babysit" my uncle when I was 12 or 13 so my grandmother could go get her hair done or have a few hours to herself. He used to love to play pool, and he had his own special rules to make sure he won. if you tried to do something he had just done he would call you out for cheating.
My best friend coaches several Special Olympics teams ( softball and floor hockey). I have vone to a lot of tournements with him. It's not as happy go lucky friendly as you may think. They don't hold winning to as high importance as those without special needs, but. it does matter to some of them.
It was funny to hear them talk smack to their teammates in the dressing room.
Anyway, nice try Randy. I too decided at some point it was you and stuck with it.
I was surprised to see who the rat was though.
Maybe the dog only brings the ball back because he thinks you like throwing it.

I will try and keep this short...
R1 – the Classics. I've seen the "Phantom of the Opera" twice, somewhere around 89' to 90'. 1st time was with Robert Guillaume as the Phantom. Michael Crawford took some time off, I suspect. He was good, we enjoyed it. Michael came back and it was still playing in Los Angeles, so we went again, I wanted to see the original Phantom. Wow, it was "classic". I saw the original "Jesus Christ Superstar" performed at the Universal Studios amphitheater in 72'...classic. Sort of hard to specify that in the answer without giving away the age of the boss... but these two shows are still done. I wouldn't mind seeing Annie... yeah, it may be a classic too; but it would be new to me.
Spider said he was voting for someone, was in a majority, but his name did not show up. Wasn't fool proof, but it made me watch his actions.
R2 – I remember my childhood pretty well. In the 3rd grade we did a western play in the auditorium that we did one Friday evening; mostly in front of our family and teachers. I wasn't in any of the early parts of the show that had to do with a bank robber and the evilness of it all (wooden guns were used, even though back then there were no concerns about play guns in school). I was in the final scene alone with a pair of "ladies" who were buying some material. I was the store keeper, using my arm and nose to measure off the material (got big laughs, but that was the way material used to be measured). I had to explain to the "ladies" what happened to the criminals and how they were caught and how long they would be in jail. It was a minor role, but it was necessary to bring closure to the play. Last time I was in a play.
Again, Spider was in a majority but his name did not show up on the firing list. I was pretty sure he was the rat. What was strange was that I expected to see Braingle as mandatory, but his name was optional along with Jessey. These were the only two names on my firing list. So Braingle must have voted for Fathead but did not say anything. Not a good thing. I opted to only fire the person everyone would think was a mandatory.
R3 – I really thought that was how Mamma Mia was spelled... never really looked at the spelling. Even after posting it, I didn't google it... it would have been an easy way to not be concerned. However, this round started almost as soon as I posted my firings and memo. I am playing a few games of chess and after playing these out, saw the message that boss had started again. So I didn't even have a chance to double check what I was saying. Oh well.
Spider was on the firing list this round... & because there was almost every name available except for Habs and Hoo; I figured he was there because there was a majority on me, but not more than 33%. If I had fired only the other person, I was a bit afraid that the employees would be quick to point out that not enough firings took place. I slid through the next round without a majority.
R4 – I made reference to the Michael Crawford version of the Phantom.
The memo was something for fun
R5 – As I stated earlier, I am not above crying at things that make me happy... though it was more of a reference to tears in the eyes

So I have to ask, where is everyone else?
I do not care if they liked my play, but Whov did a great job and everyone should give her credit for keeping this game going as it should be! She really did do HER job and did not lack in making sure to proceed in a timely manner.
As the boss in this game, I did send her a couple private messages due to the game. One was requesting a little time for me to get "off-line" due to one round where she started a bit faster than I would have expected.
Not really a problem, but she was responded positively and I never had another issue. She did not reveal anything that may have been happening and as such; she did her job with a rating of 10 out of 10, with 10 being the best.
She did say I had a good rat; sorry Spider, I did not see that after the fact; but I am sure you had your reasons. I can not say you were bad as you didn't throw me under the bus wheels; but I did not see support other than a vote for someone to help put a secondary vote out there. This game may not have assisted any other options; that I am aware of.
And for these reasons only, players need to give HER a high mark and spend, oh... I don't know, like 3 minutes to let her know you appreciate "her" modding.
For whatever it is worth Whov... I appreciate your modding in this game; I truly believe you were active and took care of business to make the game move on! Thank you!!!!

Ill admit I didnt have the focus /energy this game to do a good job. The rat has a tough role anyway, I didnt see any long term hope in outright trying to sway votes off you, so I joined Aisha and hoped another majority option would be the best chance.
