Five girlfriends were discussing shoes. They discovered that of 5 shoe types, each girl had a different favorite to wear, favorite to buy, and least favorite. Use the clues and the grid to determine each girl's full name, favorite type of shoe to wear, favorite type of shoe to buy, and least favorite type of shoe. For each girl, the shoes she liked to wear, liked to buy, and liked least were always 3 different shoe types. (On grid, W=to wear, B=to buy, L=least)
1. Miss Greene, who didn't like to buy slingbacks, liked sneakers the least. Kristen, whose last name isn't Best, didn't like to buy mules.
2. Miss Sample liked to wear slingbacks, but the girl who liked to wear mules liked slingbacks least, and the one who loved buying slingbacks liked flip flops the least.
3. Tina, whose last name isn't Sample, loved to wear sneakers. Kristen didn't like to buy pumps.
4. The girl who liked to buy mules liked pumps the least. Allie's last name wasn't Mason. Miss Best liked to buy flip flops.
5. The five girlfriends are represented by: Suzie, the one who liked to buy sneakers, Miss Dean, Kristen, and the one who loved to wear mules.
6. Jen Sample liked mules the least. Suzie Greene didn't like to wear slingbacks.

These girls are as picky as me when it comes to footwear & I'm only one guy.
Good teaser.
Fun teaser, really fun, and not to hard, but you don't give all the answers fab puzzle!!!
clues are too similar; confusing
very very confoosing. and i'm a girl
I enjoyed this tough one, even though I can't stand (on) women's shoes!
I don't find a way to see who wore flip flops vs who wore pumps.
i have one thing to say:
well i messed that one up!
well i messed that one up!
EXCELLENT TEASER. NOT TOO EASY. WORTH THE TIME IT TOOK TO DO IT.
Not a bad teaser, however, it seems it would be impossible to solve without the hint. You would be stuck trying to guess who wore the flip flops and who wore the pumps!! Otherwise, it was really good.
Good Job...
it took a while to figure out who wore/bought/liked least what but i got after a lot of hmmmmm ing lol
tough one it really drove me crazy trying to figure it out as far as the hint being necessary to solve the puzzle You might like to buy and wear the same shoes but I don't think that you would want to buy or wear your least favorite shoe, which is where the clue came in Really good job!!!!!!!!!
I was confused at first between who wore flipflips and who wore pumps, but then I remembered everyone wore, bought and liked least 3 different kinds of shoes. Tricky one! Good job!
LOVED it! Great job with the clues!!! These are my favorite kinds--not too much information, but enough to deduct the answers!!
I love shoe shopping, so this was fun to do!!! I don't understand, however, why the girls didn't like to buy the same kind of shoe that they liked to wear. That doesn't make logical sense to me.
I thought it was very clear, a little easy but all in all it was fun. good job
Awesome!! This one really had me thinking. Kept getting confused on the wore, bought, liked least option. Had to pay close attention to what was being marked. The hint wasn't necessary, as it is just repeating info given in the intro... so for those of you who had problems without the hint....REREAD the intro.
This one solves much faster if you start with clue 6 and work backwards. Overall it was well done and worth the extra cup of coffee it took to finish!
So each girl had a favorite pair to wear, but would rather buy a different pair from that one? You could say it makes sense if a less-preferred pair was cheaper, to prefer to buy that and save money...but in this case some of them actually would have to prefer buying a more expensive pair than the one they would most like to wear?
This is how much sense girls make when shoes or clothes are involved in the conversation. LOL

Really have to watch what's Wear/Buy/Least with all the shoe types the same for each category. Makes it more challenging, but not really in the way I prefer.
I got down to just determining wear Flip Flops and wear Pumps, went back over the clues and couldn't see anything I missed. Then realized that it wouldn't make sense to prefer to wear your least favorite type of shoe ...
So kind of missing a clue, but common sense fills in the gap. Prefering to wear and buy different shoes makes less sense ... but fortunately that assumption isn't required to solve it.
