I dont get the geustion. ps. Yay, im the second person!
Fabulous!!
Tried as hard as I could, still couldn't come up with the right answers. Mental block for some reason. Nice teaser, just not nice for me. Thanks for posting.
That was fun!! Made you think. Just the fine balance between "way too easy" and "downright impossible" Thanks!!
I could only come up with one, for some reason I found it very difficult.
Pretty good, 'rice and sleazy' - I don't mean to 'stitch and groan' but I don't think Room rhymes with Fume.
Splash and cash is reaching pretty far for a rhyme - it was tough but fun
I'm with auntiesis, for some reason I had a complete brain block on this one, even though it seemed like a clever teaser.
Fun quiz! I'm just glad nobody caught me whispering madly to myself; "fume and chord, fume and chord, fume and chord" over and over.
Um...... Hancar? How is "Splash" a far rhyme from "cash"??? Are you pronouncing them correctly? Just curious.
5/9 right.
That was fun! Thank you. I missed 2, even after taking the words all the way through the alphabet.
7 1/2 out of 8. Had a mental block too for a minute and then they started to flow. Good teaser.
Hi Peppa!
I thought this was written just fine & the rhymes "sounded" good.
I only got 4 out of 8, but it is late!
GOOD ONE: Well written, Thanks!

That was a good one, well writen, and it ir rhymed. I only got 4, but it was fun. Thanks
PS to Lucy - We pronounce coup, coo, like coup d'etat in French.

I got them all ! FUN FUN FUN
I'm with Antiesis too. Just couldn't get my brain in the right groove today. But a good, fun teaser all the same.
i liked this one a lot. some were easy, others were more difficult, but all of them were doable. great teaser
Hi, everyone ....
Peppamintpatty hasn't been around for almost eight years but I/we (original BadBunnee and I) well remember her excellent logic & language puzzles.
Hope she comes back. We need her !!

It was hard for me. But it is 4 a.m., so, whatever. Clever puzzle tho
I usually love this type of teaser, but my brain wasn't working today. I think it's a change in the weather. Yesterday it was 74 degrees here - and during the night we got 3-1/2" of snow!! Dirty trick, Mother Nature! Seriously, good quiz. I hope I do better next time!
NOW I'm wondering if bunnee and buni are some how related!?

Only in spirit, GW, only in spirit !!
Gayle, she played the same rotten trick on us. It was 20 degrees celcius yesterday. People were wearing shots and t-shirts and today we woke up to snow and temps right around the freezing mark. Which given the cold of winter this year would not have been bad but when compared to the warm weather the last few days meant winter jackets, boots, hats and mitts. Had to dig the snowpants out for the kids again too. But then it is going back into the mid teens ( celcius) again tomorrow and will stay nice foe the holiday weekend.
I am used to rhyming words, but somehow the words that were chosen just did not work for me. I got a couple and that was it, but it was a clever teaser.
This was a surprisingly tricky puzzle for me. It was well written and when I saw the answers I couldn't believe I didn't do better. It's a lovely day and wishing everyone a Happy Easter. If you don't celebrate that holiday, have a wonderful day!
The concept was nice.
I got a few, but couldn't get any of the others.
I liked the rhyming aspect of it too.

I like the concept, but some of the clues were a bit of a stretch.
Also, No. 2 has two different meanings & pronunciations?

Fun and entertaining teaser. Took a bit of time, but I got them all. Enjoyed this challenging quiz. Good way to get the brain cells working.
I liked that one a lot. However, I didn't get fume and chord. Fume doesn't rhyme with room. It's a "yuh" sounds in fume vs. the "oo" sound in room. So that one I take a slight issue with, but overall, great!
Also, I don't think coup has two diff pronunciations. It's always pronounced "coo". Some may be thinking of "coop" or "coupe".
