Greetings puzzlers!
The above is an easy one - I hope, for most of you.
But it's not the real challenge. Can you do the same idea for other words?
Take the word "back", for example. You could make "feed back" and "back field" to get two sets of compound words or phrases, both using the same word; "back".
Try it. Using the word "back" and any other two different words, add two more NEW compound phrases or words to this comments section.
I'll start it off. Here's;
quarter back & feed back.
Contribute only TWO new sets each time.
They must be words not used here previously with the word "back".
The words can be used BEFORE or AFTER (or both) the word "back".
Don't worry about being "correct"; the compound can be entered as (example) "quarterback", "quarter-back", or "quarter back".
Multiple contributions are OK, but wait until somebody else has contributed two sets before you contribute another two sets.
The "contest" will run until midnight Saturday, March 29 (US Central Time)at which time a "winner" will be announced - and a suitable award given.
Have fun !!

OMG, sorry for the answer, just trying if my comments work. Just new here. Very sorry
Caelest -
No sweat. No apologies necessary. We were ALL "new" here at one time.
And thanks for your entry, comments, and vote (if you did so)
Give the "back" challenge a try !!!

Well, nobody elected to take the challenge and play the game.
Too bad. It would have been fun.
There are at least 80 more "back" compound words (such as "back pedal" and "piggy back").
Maybe I'll do another Language Challenge in a few days and give it another try.
Thanks for reading.
I like this kind of teaser. I'll have to look up #2
